You know you can call them on the phone and do a video chat faster that it takes to post on the forum? Also, you’ll find out a lot more info by interviewing directly. Most of the 411s are empty with little or no information. So do what you want, but there are better ways. If you’re concerned about someone being fake just request a video chat. That will quickly weed out the fakes. Thats way faster than posting a message on a board. And like I said, most of the 411 requests never get answered anyway.

Smarter how? Most of the time no one on here knows anything about the masseur anyway. The only way to find out if it’s a good fit is to call them on the phone and make an appointment like a grown up.

Ok. That makes sense. Every persons experience is subjective and relative. Just because one person doesn’t enjoy a particular masseur, doesn’t mean another would have the same experience. That’s why I’ve tried out a variety and found several that I like. You have to experiment!

What’s the point of these “411” questions? If you’re curious about someone just hire them and see how things work out. You have to try a lot of massage therapists before you can find the one who’s right for you. Reviews on this site are to be taken with a grain of salt anyway. It’s all about personal chemistry, and you have to jump in and see how you mesh with someone.

I once went to a guy in Long Beach. His ad and website depicted him as being a muscle bound ex-military type with powerful hands. When I met him I quickly realized he was the exact opposite. He was incredibly overweight, which would have been fine except that’s not what I was expecting. And he spoke with a really girly voice that wasn’t in keeping with his marketing campaigns. I could have looked past all that, but what I couldn’t tolerate was how filthy his apartment was. I got the immediate impression that this guy never left his apartment and had absolutely no life whatsoever. The massage was really mediocre and frustrating. I’ve had small women give me much stronger massages. I think he was also used to working closeted “straight” dudes, and when I told him I was openly gay he seemed really disappointed, so he put very little effort into it. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. He probably has plenty of loyal clients, it I definitely won’t be one of them.
