I see him on a regular basis and agree his actual height is more like 5'7".  He still has a fairly defined body.   In regards to English, he is 100% fluent with minimal accent (if at all) so was surprised to hear others say he doesn't speak English well.  That is simply not the case-at least not in the past few years.  He is one of my favorites and is 100% client focused.  Just a really great guy.

I think u should question their credentials more.  One therapist had every type of massage offer listed.  I said can u do strictly shiatsu.  He replied after long pause not really I try to include a little bit of everything in my massage. Yeah right!  No thanks.  We are responsible for the rising costs.  Just say no

I’m sad reading all these comments. Massage should always be something that one looks forward to as a special treat.
What is it that makes guys hire masseurs who are just seeing you as an ‘easy way of making money’. These masseurs can’t care about their reputation or about getting repeat clients. I’d say there’s clues in their adverts that might indicate there the ‘rub and tug’ type: they’ve not been around long, their pictures are of them topless with 8 pack and muscles, they have bullshit about mystical benefits of massage and sprinkle the word Tantra in their adverts. They’re open to doing the massage on a bed. They want a pic or description of you before they’ll confirm your booking. Those kind of things, especially all of them together, are probably a clue that he’s doing this for a bit of easy cash….because he can.

I've had the same experience.  I would say about 10-15% are any good.  It's especially concerning when they list therapeutic massage as an option and have extensive experience with (name them) various massage techniques but when you meet them, it's just a money grab and they try to get you out the door as quickly as possible.  I'm fine if they simply list sensual/erotic and not all the BS about extensive training in India, Thailand, etc.  There is one traveling through the Midwest quite often who claims he offers Nuru massage but in reality it's simply rubbing oil all over you.  The guy doesn't use proper Nuru oil and doesn't have a clue what a real Nuru massage is.

Negotiate I don't do with these providers, you're gonna get  less of a service if you take the cheaper rate.

Cody is in my area so I contacted him about getting together. He was very willing but quoted a fee of $500 so I said no thank you. He then contacted me and wanted to know what I would pay. I told him I didn't like to bargain. He then sent me a quote of $300. I like guys to let me know their fee and I can decide to take it or leave it. I hate the bargaining and hard sell approach. It feels like buying a car. Am I being too sensitive?

We ALL know that legally 'escorts are paid for their time" yes. But we ALL KNOW what escorts are REALLY paid for - and THEY KNOW IT, TOO. So, this one poster who was like 'well, he spent time with you even though he was sick'....girl, bye.
Text him and say you want to have a chat about a future trip. Have him call you and then gently say something like "hey. While we're on the topic of future trips, can we talk about the last trip? I KNOW you got sick and that is 100% not your fault, nor mine and of course it was something that could not be avoided. But, I don't feel like I completely got my money's worth in the time shared. I don't want to insult or offend you. But, Is there something we could about that? How do you feel?"

His response will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know.
I had a regular escort one time that was coming through town. He wanted to see if he could 'crash' at my place and he would give me a very discounted rate for an overnight.
He arrived. I phucked him. Then, I took him to a wonderful dinner and one of his favorite country artists just happen to be in town that night. Because I work in entertainment, I had the chance to get backstage passes and take him to the show as a guest of the performer.
To say he was thrilled to go to the show and hang with the artist is an understatement. We got back to my house and the sex was INCREDIBLE! He was on a HIGH from the night.
This guy is supposedly Mr. Bi/Straight man. The next morning he did not feel 'in the mood' ... I said the following: "hey listen, I get that. I do. But, we are in more of a business relationship than a friend/lover/hookup thing. This isn't a hookup, you aren't my boyfriend. I gave you an amazing night and allowed you to spend the night with me in my bed based on the notion that I would receive sex this morning. So, you can either just charge me half of what you were going to charge or you can go get in the shower and prepare."
He said "you're right. I'm on the job. Headed to the shower, Sir."
We had a fun time and he left.

BOTTOM LINE: He was on the job and he could not perform. He should return at least 50-75% of the money paid.

Apples and oranges.  That you chose to offer sick days to someone who cleans your home is nice but not necessary.  Paying someone for services not rendered, which is probably 40 to 50 times that amount you pay your house cleaner is worthy of a discussion at the least.  It seems like that if your house keeper is "like family" she probably offered regrets about not not working and thanks for the payment.  Neither of these things were reported to be  done by the escort.

    Yes, he should have.
I think it's only fair to at least have a discussion about a rate decrease for the trip. That he never even addressed it is problematic to me.
Yes, we all get sick and that can't be helped, but if you're an escort who's down and out on a prepaid trip, offering a discount or future credit would be the professional thing to do.

What I find more annoying is when the masseur has two different rates posted on rentmasseur and masseurfinder-sometimes significantly different.

Yes I agree. You’ll get a better massage usually from someone who’s first a masseur than from someone who’s an escort and is doing massage to pad out the time. Masseurs are invested in giving massage so that’s their focus. Of course they’re good at massage, and the sensual elements and will go to intimate areas then your massage will be arousing and seductive, and your masseur will ensure it includes an appropriate climax.

One of the straight Russian dudes from NYC who have to keep changing their name on rentmasseur, that says it all.
Competent masseur that provides no sensual elements and will ask you in the end to "finish yourself." You text back and forth with someone else who speaks good English and will promise all kinds of things, but this dude barely speaks English and won't deliver. I'd stay away, even though he is obviously hot.

As as rule, I adhere to the following.
    1) I only ever tip in the United States, because not to tip is considered rude, and a wages of service providers is built into the American tipping culture.  For "providers" - I round up. So if the festivities are 250, I might give 300, only if it was "good and exemplary". If it was just ok, the dude is getting 250.
    2) In the UK, almost all restaurants now will include a discretionary service charge. It used to be 5%. I've seen it as high as 12.5%.  If it was high and I thought total bollocks ( to steal their phrase) I have asked them to remove it. I do not tip in the UK.  I may round up, but to smaller amount. This applies to hires.
What I did learn from friends from smart circles in England is one should always tip with paper notes as opposed to coins. Either give paper notes or give nothing at all. So the bellman that fetched my suitcase would get a £5 at least, but never a £2 in coins ever.
    3) In mainland Europe, as soon as they hear me speak, or worse, the machine picks up that I have an American / US dollar credit card, I'm expected to tip. I do no tip in France either, or Italy for that matter, and never in Germany. In Paris, I might leave a euro or two for good service at the cafe. I follow the UK rule, never tip only if its good.  In france, a euro or two euro coin is acceptable at the cafe.
    4) Latin America has been ruined by the American tipping culture. I generally try avoid tipping in Brazil, but in Mexico as soon as they see me they almost expect it. I don't tip in Latin America.  I only ever tipped once in Latin America, a provider I thought was phenomenal, the rest got their quoted rates, rounded up slightly.
5). Tipping in Japan is rude, and some professionals ( including creatures of the night) might consider it insulting. You can give your entertainer/companion/host/urisen a drink or gift.   I never ever tip in Japan.  If you liked the service, consider upgrading - i.e turning a 1 hour into a 3 hour or buying an expensive drink, rather than a tip.
    6) I don't tip in Asia either or Africa. Though in Kenya - again because of Americans they expect it as soon as they see me. Don't tip here either. I don't care how big it was.
    7) I also don't tip in the middle east.
Just because I'm from the US, doesn't make me a tipping machine, people should not expect it.
If you read this far, I only tip in the United states, not anywhere else.
I consider myself well travelled, and culturally aware, rather than cheap

In NYC at least, there is a great difference between the services of a masseur in a spa setting, where a generous tip is appropriate and expected (100% of the fee or more, depending on the quality of the service), and the services of any provider in a private setting, where the provider is getting the entire agreed upon fee.  I might add a bit to the fee for a masseur or escort who goes the extra mile, ahem, but I don't feel any need to tip someone who provided service at an agreed price for $180-$300 or more for an hour.
