However, in this case you are misjudging Brazil.  Maybe because you have not spent much time there, if any. 
In the U.S., many providers use a website called rentmen.eu.  The site is based in Europe and includes advertisements from providers based all over the world, including Brazil. 
Although Brazil is technically called a third world country, it has a great economy and is greatly involved in world exports, including coffee and food supplies.  
There are many places in Brazil where providers meet clients.  The saunas are only one small segment of where clients can meet providers.  
There are movie houses, massage centers, parks, streets and many websites that allow Brazilian escorts to advertise their services to the public.

Considering I visit Brazil often, I know for a fact that providers over the past two years are not making the fees they made prior to the coronavirus pandemic hitting Brazil and the down flux of their economy.

And, in keeping with the title of the thread, even providers from Brazil experience a lot of "no shows" and cancellations of scheduled appointments made with clients from the web sites and other sources.  
Cancellations just go with the territory.  It is with most businesses.  People change their minds or things come up and appointments are not kept.  

A true recession and later depression will certainly change the rates of escorts. 
Why?
Countless people will be without jobs.  Without jobs, they will not be able to pay their expenses.  Money for an escort will be little more than a wishful dream.  
Again, look into what a true depression is.  The frequent semi-recessions the world has experienced over the past couple of years is predicted, by numerous respected economists, to become a major recession and then followed by a true depression.
If or when a depression happens, the last thing on the mind of clients will be to look for an escort to spend money that is not there. 
Read your history books on the depression that no one thought was coming, but it did.    

My rule of thumb. If there is a quality provider I know I want to meet I will contact him for an appointment and pay a 50% deposit of the appointment time. No questions asked. This puts us both at ease. He knows he will be taken care of with me paying him, and I know I will get the confirmed time that works best for me. 
Once I’ve met the provider, I will pay 100% of their fee when booking the next appointment. This works best for me and any provider I’ve hired. It seems like a win win for both parties, I’m not sure why all clients don’t follow suit.

Always remember: Escorts are human beings who have financial obligations just like you.  You don't get to set someone's rate or tell him why he should charge less, but you do have the choice of being a decent person and respectfully declining.

I’m curious to see what the escort you’re hiring for $200 an hour looks like. We probably have different types my friend. That’s about half or even less than what I usually pay for per hour.  Or it could just be your region but I’ve never seen someone (that I’m interested in) charge that little. 
 
Also, how does it make you feel when you negotiate a provider’s rates when he’s already charging below market value and you don’t care to stay within the timeframe you agreed on? Do you feel like you earned a win or came out on top? 

It's hard to parse what your post is trying to say, but it sounds like you have multiple instances of cancelling with short notice.  So why even book in advance, rather than waiting til you know you're actually free?  If you want to reply "because my time is limited and I want to be sure that he'll be available when I might be" I'd ask why the provider isn't afforded the same consideration.

I feel for you guys. I view this as a service industry and an appointment should be made in advance similar to anything else you’d set time aside for. Sometimes I’ll book a week in advance with a paid deposit if his travel schedule is posted.

Interesting thread. If the subject was the impact of inflation on prices other than those that escorts are charging, it would be CNBC-worthy.

50% of guys who try to book me are unsuccessful because they assume I’m sitting around all day doing nothing just to be available for anyone who asks. It’s unfortunate but the ‘available now?’ clients usually end up disappointed.

That does really happen…like ‘reserving’ the time but not booking!
I’m not a train timetable with services at set times. I’m a restaurant table booking; If all the tables are full you won’t get in. I’m open every day but all the punters who were organised enough to book ahead get the day / time they wanted. The ones who aren’t organised end up eating at McDonalds.

I pay what I want. 

For whatever reason, any time I pay $350 I'm disappointed.  The best providers seem to be in the $250-$300 range.  You get what you pay for does not seem to apply here.

The dollar is worth about 20% less than it was in 2019. So $ 275 in 2019 now $ 330.  Any smart provider will hedge a little and bump that up to $ 350. since inflation doesn't seem to be showing any signs of ending soon.
