Harry is second tier

 

Basically Harry is way down the line in the order of succession.

 

I think you might have to go back to the time of Richard III to find a brother succeeding a brother who had children.

King Felipe VI would be even closer in the line of succession but his great-grandmother marry his great-grandfather Alfonso XIII who was a Roman Catholic. Just in case she had to give up her rights to the throne.

 

When Peter Philips' fiancée was a Roman Catholic but she converted in order for him to keep his place.

According to an article in this month's Vanity Fair, Harry is the most popular member of the royal family (with the public).

He is with me, much more natural and less stiff than all the other ones. He can react like a real guy to almost anything.

That does make him more likeable.

They gave up the colonies but then got the Commonwealth of California years later.
