So, a month and a half after the date of starting to “raise the rate” that this letter was inciting, 2 questions:

1. Who among you escorts have raised their rate by $100 and maintained it there?

2. Who among you clients have paid an extra $100 an hour for an escort?

Yes, to number 2. Was more curious about the experience that 350 escort would provide.

The market will pay what it can afford. NYC is a different market than Milwaukee. Since when was $500 an hour low end? I know I was gone for a bit but seriously?!?! My unprofessional opinion is the OP is on bad crack and should seek help.

Hugs,

Greg

True. I was in Milwaukee and surrounding for a couple weeks. The rates there are higher than San Antonio, but I find $200 in Milwaukee is about the redline.

At the same time, COL is cheaper than places like NYC and DC.

However I don’t agree with the last statement. The reason why FOSTA won is because we continually degrade and bash each other and don’t stand together.

If we’re going to defeat FOSTA, we need to stop attacking one another whenever another sex worker disagrees with the way another sex worker operates or addresses their clientele.

If your last line was sent in a letter to Congress, how would that paint escorts?

#1 a drug abuser

#2 an emotional abuser.

Both whom happen to be sex workers and need to be “helped” by passing laws against us.

Plain and simple his rational for raising rates is stupid. I'm not going to argue. But good luck to him. I guarantee he won't be gaining anything from it. But his biz his problem. Not mine.

Well that’s his rationale. It’s not like he’s creating a sweeping law saying must raise your rates or be shut down. He’s just making a suggestion, and that suggestion may or may not work for him and others.

Nobody is perfect. There’s no specific regulations or guidelines that anyone needs to follow.

I’m just still not liking the whole sex workers verbally (or shall I say, literature-ly) attacking other sex workers, especially on a forum where other clients are viewing. @Kurtis Wolfe did it, you did it, several others have did it. By all means, if this is going to be a place where sex workers can’t share opinions or how they handle business without being belittled and judged by other sex workers, well maybe it’s best that no escorts participate.

I know one thing for sure, I’m getting off of here. That’s probably part of the reason why @Juan Vancouver and several others you can see, dont really hang around much. And I don’t know why I’m so foolish to keep doing so. But you know, better late than never.

If you or someone else doesnt like what I say (I tend to speak my mind) then you have a couple options. One, hit the ignore button and you went see my posts. It works. I've done it to a couple people. Or two, hit the road.

Of course. I’ve nothing against you. We’ve had our spats, but ultimately I don’t. But I could say that line to several people. Including the one who posted above you...

You weren't attacked. You decided to play the "poor me, I'm now a victim card" because you couldn't process the idea that anything you did broke a rule. Sit down queen. As far as I'm concerned, you opinions no longer matter on this forum.

The fact that you insist playing hierarchal high school games (queen, really?) just goes to show you’d rather keep up animosity, than to make peace. Which proves my point. Especially after I was man enough to come forward and tried to truce.

@Kurtis Wolfe quite a few of us have pressed the ignore button on mocha.

I have realised that there is just no getting through to him with any type of argument, and all his many long winded complaints about how we all mistreat him and how he could not possibly have done anything to deserve it, have never taught me anything I could find valuable.

Raise my rate? I got an email where a client tried to haggle me down to $100... I might as well be walking the streets again like when I was 19.

What city is this in?

Posted
I’ve gotten more hagglers but eventually they come up to my original rate after I decline them. I’m actually going to probably start charging a new client fee here in the near future.

Just remember me, and give me the old client fee, cuz I’ve been lusting after you for years!

Ai-yah! *Quickly checks diary for travel opportunities. Drat, not for a while* Don't you already have that in the form of 'multi-hour appointments are at multiples of hourly rate for first-timers'?

My multi-hour discount is probably going to apply to everyone once I start the new client fee. I may also re-arrange my session rates entirely by taking a page out of Tyler The Bad Wolf’s book.

The reason for the fee is because it’s taking more and more of my time to vet, verify new clients and weed out the bad apples, especially with the passing of SESTA / FOSTA.

Just come to Boston, I will pay the fee plus 20%.:D

I guess the O.P. is so busy with his letter and newfound business he’s too busy to post?

@BlakeBenz hasn’t logged in here since the day he started the thread and posted his letter.

But to be fair, it was clear from the text that it wasn't expected to work unless all providers did it. So one person's experience with a rate change won't count for much.
