My intuition (usually wrong) is that Rentmen is toast and MassuerFinder may stand a chance as last one standing. Maybe.

 

The law applies to companies like Google as well as RM and they are going to get more aggressive in blocking. Maybe providers like Comcast too. But I thought this would happen sooner and if a test case gets before the courts first the law could be held up awaiting appeal before much damage is done. (At least parts will be overturned). I don't think Google etc is having an easy time making filters that don't block a hell of a lot of stuff like Tumbler, Twitter, OnlyFans and Grindr.

 

If the worst happens I see MassuerFinder maybe surviving and guys going into Grindr looking for "bodybuilder sponsors", "generous" guys, "daddies" , etc. But it will hurt escorts' business a lot.

I think most professionals have not yet noticed Mintboys. They had a business strategy from the very beginning that shields them as much as you can be possible shield. If I were a provider, I would be posting my profile with them, just in case Rentmen gets blocked.

I also noticed a company who made my business cards...is also based in the Netherlands. Which is good because they have no restrictions or censors on what you can advertise. I don't even think they look at them...

I’d be glad if RM goes down at this point. Their decision to allow cis male tops to show their throbbing hard-ons but block trans guys from showing ourselves with our dicks “strapped on” means that trans guys who top professionally simply can’t compete. People believe only what they see, not whatever you write about yourself in your profile. If I can’t show myself in similar poses to the ones that cis tops are using in their advertising then it comes across as pretty unbelievable in my ad that I’m a top. I’m not interested in advertising as a bottom so RM is pretty useless for me as an ad venue.

 

Oddly I’ve found that I have this same problem with almost every major ad venue- their rules make it impossible for me to advertise effectively that I’m a top, whether it’s female-oriented escort venues that won’t allow us to discuss sexual activities/preferences at all, or male-oriented ad venues that won’t allow me to show myself with my “equipment” the way cis guys are allowed to show theirs. I’ve pretty much been WITHOUT any available/effective ad venues since SESTA/FOSTA took down all the websites that were not censoring me and thus yielding me clients.

 

What am I doing? Focusing on my regulars. Getting creative about how I get my brand out there and branching out into other sectors of the adult industry until a solution presents itself. Any ad venue that actually allowed me to advertise my brand without censoring me would have my loyalty in a heartbeat. But as far as I know, there are none.

I'm optimistic about tryst.link, it's run by a sex worker collective who seem genuinely interested in making the platform friendly to escorts. Traffic is virtually zero at this point, but long-term I think it has potential.

We'll seems like rentmen is safe from fosta/ sesta because it would have been taken down 6 months ago when Craigslist and backpage were shut down. I really think they were just going after the sites that were doing human trafficking/underage so nonchalantly. Rentmen even took extra precaution from calling us escorts to pornstars and eliminated rates, its basically a site where you pay for companionship

I think Craigslist shut down on their own to avoid harming the rest of of their business if their was a raid. backpage was flaunting all sorts of things so their demise was just. I think if RM cleans up its act a little. No hard dicks,no explicit wording and stress the companionship angel the site should be just fine. But to be safe I think I should get some contact numbers.
