Are there places for escorts to review clients? The “backstage” forum at the bottom, being invitation only is probably one. I’m a novice at this and have hired two different escorts, for a total of three encounters. The first ended not so amicably. So far the second has been great. The ask and escort forum is a great place to find out what makes a good client. I think escorts see the reviews we write before they are posted. I just wish we had a chance to see reviews of us, even if they were very general and undated. I think it would make for better clientele. After all, they get to read what we write in here. Any thoughts?

I just had a visit with my regular, and we talked about this a bit: before knowing this thread was here. I was in the mood for talking during this session :)

 

The topic was escorts knowing and talking to each other. This is a fairly low-escort area: meaning there just aren't a lot of escorts around. He says he doesn't really know many, even to have casual conversation, but if there is a client who scams or had a (as he said) "condition" those that know each other may contact each other to give them a heads up. I know he knew at least one other (now retired) escort in the general area. I don't know if this every happened, or was just how things would go if it came up.

 

This makes sense to me, and I don't have any problem with it (of course, I'd never be the cause). Seems to be professionals looking out for each other.

For the most part, I agree and support BluDay's last sentence. That is sorta of important where few are looking to support or protect these guys.

 

From a more personal perspective, I can't see how this would impact me. I rarely use RM to connect, and I use a burner phone except for a few special guys. Besides, I am a chubby middle aged balding white guy with a very generic name. It would be like someone putting up a warning to stay away from John Smith at the Marquis in NYC - he's weird. ......... ok.

 

It works form the Escort Review side because of the focus and visibility of the parties, I just can't see it being effective from the other point of view. Despite the good reason in the above post.

When I first started the practice of hiring, almost a year ago, I was surprised at the length of time it took for my profile on Rentmen to be approved. I quickly came to the understanding it is for the protection of the escorts. At that time it took about 24 hours for “the administrator “ to verify my identity. Whether or not that actually happened is not for me to know. I am genuinely concerned about the well being of these guys. Even though the guys I like could throw me through a window if they chose to I worry about guys who may have more sinister agendas. As Kinky NE guy said, I’m also a middle aged overweight bald white guy with a very common name. I’ll be honest though, I started this thread for selfish reasons. I have made no secret in my various posts. The first of two guys I hired, I ended up asking him to block me because I really didn’t know what I was doing and made a nuisance of myself in terms of over communication after the encounter. I got “infatuated “ with the mere idea of him and I couldn’t stop writing him. Being very lonely is a really bad curse. I am just hoping he doesn’t bad mouth me. LOL I gave him nice reviews each time. I don’t know. My screen name is ever more telling than previously stated!

A place for escorts to post reviews on clients would seems odd. An escort would want to give negative reviews to all his clients. That would cause the other escorts to not respond to queries from those clients thus allowing the original escort that posted (and knows that the clients are, in fact, good clients) to have more repeat sessions.

 

If you are correct, then a site of reviews written by clients would make no sense. A client would like to give bad reviews to his favorite guys, so he does not have to share his sexy toy.

Putting an ad on rentmen is not a requirement for making up a name.

Outcalls to a home give an address and easily a real name. And if certain clients have a well-known nickname or real name maybe that would work. But if they're all named John, Sam, and Steve it defeats the purpose.

 

I do wish there were a way to warn about violent or sick or deadbeat clients. Now those are probably well known by nicknames.

That's the Cabana, not the Backstage.

 

I did hear back from Daddy and he’s looking up my account. So where is the Cabana if he approves my donation? And if it’s not the Backstage... what IS the backstage? Is it as I suspect an area for escorts only, or something I wink wink nudge nudge.... just don’t need to know about yet? I’m okay with a “need to know for now” basis.

I am sure escorts talk to each other about particularly awful clients (rude, maybe underpaid or not at all, drunk or on drugs during session, ect). But there was an escort on this forum not too long ago that said he made his own list for himself. So he has his own review process.

I dont think many people would know what it was. It is cut off slightly but it is an older sports logo for the Univ. of North Dakota, and their nickname was Fighting Sioux which has since been deemed 'hostile and abusive' which is absurb but thats another debate.
