So, I'm bi, and only interested in a certain type of guy, basically guys who remind me of the frat brother who got me into guys. On top of that, they have to have the right attitude, cocky and dominant but playful, so the amount of guys I'm attracted to, even out of the professional market is very slim. Add to that that I live in Salt Lake City, and maybe one or two escorts come through a year that even peak my interest.

Well, an escort is in town that was exactly what I'm looking for. We spoke, and he was into the same kinky stuff, which had me really excited. We set an appointment, and he gave me the address of his hotel. I texted him when I parked, and he gave me his room number. It was a nice hotel, not super high end, but very nice.

I was nervous, excited, and ready for fun. I went to his room and knocked on his door. I knocked again and waited a minute. Just as I finished knocking, a member of the hotel staff came walking around the corner. He was walking by the door just as the guy opened it. The guy looked like he was 70, and upset at being woken up. I apologized and told him I had the wrong room number. I quickly texted the escort and told him he must have given me the wrong room number. He texted saying it was right and I must have gotten the wrong room. He told me to go to the elevators on his floor and he would put on some clothes and come out and get me. That last little bit had me a bit excited.

I went to the elevator, pulled out my phone, and waited. The same guy who was hotel staff came out of a maintenance room next to the elevators maybe two minutes after I had stopped to wait there. He asked if he could help me, I told him I was just waiting for a friend. He got on the elevator, and I continued to wait. It hadn't been 5 minutes since i first arrived at the elevators, and someone new got off the elevator. This time it was the hotels security guy.

He asked to see my room key. I told him I wasn't a guest, just waiting for a friend. He asked me to please follow him to the lobby. Instead of stopping at the front desk, we went to an office behind it. He asked me what my friends last name was. I told him I didn't know. He asked what my friends first name was. I told him again that I didn't know. The security guy then informed me that at that point he was obligated to call in the police. I told him it wouldn't be necessary, that I would leave.

As I walked back to my truck, I looked at my phone and saw that I had several missed texts from the escort.

Basically they went like this.

Where are you

Buddy which hotel are you at

F

damn damn damn

I sent the wrong address. I apologize man

After I got away from the wrong hotel, I told him I wasn't in the mood after that. He understood. It turns out, that hotel has two hotels in town. He googled the hotel name and sent me the address without checking to see if it was his.

It was a little embarrassing, the hotel guy obviously knew that I wasn't there for anything good if I didn't even know my "friends" name. I figure he didn't have any reason to call the cops, but just that he said he would had me a bit panicked.

Has anyone else had any run ins with security when meeting up?

Fortunately, I didn't have the issue with hotel security but with the wrong hotel. I got to the hotel and was really worried; it was low-end and run down. I got out and head to the room. When I got there. I texted that I was there and outside the room but not sure I was in the correct place. He texted back, yep not at the right place and resent the correct address. He left off something like N or S. Not a fun experience, and when I got to the session was also stressed and not the best session.

Another time, I set up a session and was told to park in the apartment parking lot. I got to the garage and a security guard pointed me where to park. When I got out he asked who I was visiting. I had the apartment number but we didn't exchange names in the text. I provided the apartment number and made up a name. I figured that I let the security guy work out the actual name. I am sure I wasn't the first person visit who a resident there who provide his or her guest with a bar name. That session was a good one and have had a difficult time setting up another because of timing issues.

Sorry, you had to deal with hotel security FilmGeek. I could just imagine how horrifying let alone embarrassing that it was for you. I wish I could convey even more sympathy for you.

FilmGeek I'm sorry that happened to you. Many years ago I had hired someone in NYC to come to my hotel. After my appointment, said guy ventured to an unrestricted stairwell to take photographs. When I woke up that morning, the light on my room phone was blinking. It was a message from hotel security telling me a guest of mine was in an unrestricted area and that they wanted to question me!

Needless to say I was not a happy camper, and read the guy the riot act when I returned to my room (via phone).

He was an ass about the whole thing.

An escort I had called was stopped in the lobby while trying to meet me at a high end San Francisco hotel. I had stayed at this hotel on vacation three years in a row, and had hired escorts for incalls to the hotel during most days of my stay. All prior visitors had been able to walk through the lobby to the elevators and go straight to my room. This particular escort said that he was a little confused by the lobby layout and wandered a bit while trying to find the elevator. He was stopped and questioned by hotel security, and he said he was on his way up to meet me but he only had my first name and room number. He told the hotel security that we had met at a bar, and that he didn't have my last name. Security called up to my room and asked if I was expecting a visitor. When I said yes he asked me to come down to the lobby to meet them.

This escort went by the name of Joe in his BAR ad, but through the magic of Internet stalking I had already discovered his real name. When I got to the lobby I saw my escort (for the first time in person) with the security guy. I was a bit worried about how to handle the situation until I saw that the escort had his wallet in his hand, and I deduced that security had checked his ID. I decided on the spot to act as though I were greeting a buddy instead of straightening out a security situation. I approached him excitedly and greeted him by his real first name, with a handshake and shoulder to shoulder hug. I didn't do much more than acknowledge hotel security, saying, "Let's go on up" to the escort while leading him to the elevators, and giving the security guy a thank you that was intended to sound like, "That will be all."

The escort remarked on how smoothly I handled the situation, though he was surprised that I knew his name. He had been a bit flustered and put off by the scene, so I dedicated the first part of our session to calming his nerves.

The hotel security guy was a short, solid, thickly muscled Italian-looking guy who filled out his suit nicely. If it had been a porn film he would have joined in with the escort to tag-team me, or he would have collared me in the lobby the next day and taken me into the security office for "questioning."

It may be embarrassing, but honesty might be the best policy in this situation. Since you are an adult and I assume that the hotel personnel are too, I think I would just say: I hooked up on line with someone and I came here to meet. I do not know the real name, just SexyBoy27. Now, if you would like me to leave, I will gladly, as the man that answered the door was clearly not Sexyboy27.

At least you will not have the police called and it is not really surprising for hotel personnel to learn that people have come to their hotel to have sex.

it is not really surprising for hotel personnel to learn that people have come to their hotel to have sex.

That's the key thing. Also I notice the higher-end the hotel, the more understanding they are. Of course.

I was staying one time at the Mandarin Oriental at Columbus Circle, and the day before had scheduled one of the very young-looking types (very clean-cut-looking Asian guy) that I like off of rentmen.

When he got to the lobby at the appointed time and phoned my cell to get my room number, I had carelessly left it on vibrate and didn't notice he was calling.

So he went to the check-in desk, gave them my name, and politely asked them to phone my room to let me know he was here.

The clerk did that, phoning and telling me graciously, with no verbal arching of eyebrows or anything like that, "So-and-so is here to see you. May we send him up?"

"Of course. Thank you so much!"

She told him my room number, pointed him to the elevators, and that was that.

Of course tipping the clerk who checks you in adds to the dividends.

OTOH, a somewhat different experience staying one time (on some software company's nickel for one of their events, NOT my own moolah) at the old Waldorf-Astoria at a time when the rooms had fallen into truly decrepit condition. I hired an Asian girl escort who arrived at midnight, after the elevators had locked down to requiring a room key to use them.

The desk clerk phoned my room and said in the most disgusted voice she could muster, "So-and-so is here to see you. You need to come down and get her."

Paying more for hotel courtesy can pay off!

I've run into something like this only twice that I can remember. The first was a travelling duo staying near the airport where there were a couple hotels next door to each other and I mixed up which one they were in. No big deal. The other was years ago, staying the night in the hotel where our company Christmas party had been held and I arranged for a guy after the party ended. Apparently he'd made many a visit to that hotel for escorting, and the hotel called and made me come down to get him. A bit awkward since this was through an agency and I only had a description, not a picture, but it was also not a huge deal.

My take on the hotel thing is that hotel employees have seen it all... I often stay at a hotel where Bill Clinton at times stays when he is in town... as I said hotel employees have have seen it all... Incidentally a hot tub figures into the equation from what I have been told.

Interestingly years ago the the Sheraton New York and the Sheraton Manhattan were virtually across the street from each other on 7th Avenue. More than one escort went to the wrong hotel. I would get a call stating that there was no 44th floor. I would respond saying that they at were the wrong bank of elevators. They would counter saying that they checked all the elevators and there was no 44th floor! That's when I knew that they were at the wrong hotel even though I would explicitly point out the there were two Sheratons in close proximity. This obviously happened with escorts visiting the city, though once it happened with a guy who actually lived in town!

Obviously I always booked a high room so they would not knock on the wrong door as in the OP's scenario.

I have found that for me, at least, this problem is easiest solved by meeting the escort in the lobby. Whether it is his hotel or mine when he enters the lobby I recognize him and immediately approach him with my hand extended. In Las Vegas it is often impossibly to enter an elevator without showing a room key (card) to security thus this method works like a charm.

I recall one hotel mix-up in Atlanta, where I ditched an appointment because the escort was sloppy in communicating how to access his room. The hotel had two towers, two front desks, he left a key, but was unclear about the name I should use. He wasn't even sure which tower or which desk I should approach.

I texted him basically, "I'm leaving. If you don't know where you are, I'm not wasting my time to try and find you. Good luck with your in-calls."

@whipped guy, I think those two Sheratons and also the Hilton Midtown often host more escorts at any one time than any other category of guest! :D

Absolutely certain if you add in staying clients! :p

Once I was staying at the Sheraton New York which is diagonally across 53rd Street from the Hilton where the escort (now sadly retired :( ) was staying. . We were debating if We should make it an an incall or an outcall! We decided on an incall, and a very memorable one to boot!!!! :D

PS: The Manhattan is no longer a Sheraton property! Problem solved!

I'm sorry to hear about all this senseless drama!

We have a lot of Marriott and Hyatt, I always ask the guy to text me the right address and I assume he'll look at the phone in the hotel room and type it from there. I assume the guy will text me the right hotel/room number.

I'm glad the Hotel didn't call the cops on you, after all is Utah...

A highly regarded & discussed, now-retired guy sent me to the wrong Marriott once, about 10 miles on the other side of town.

I was new and very excited about seeing him so I arrived early and patiently waited in the parking lot until 5 minutes before our appointment.

He told me to come on up to his room... 6-something. I counted the floors from the outside and only saw four stories... I rechecked the address... then went on inside assuming the numbering was different somehow. I walked past the very friendly front desk manager, got on the elevator and looked for the "6" button.

There wasn't one.

I texted him back from the lobby.... yes, he was on the 6th floor. I called him as the clerk watched and... oops.... wrong Marriott.

He was super apologetic and sweet but unfortunately I had to leave before our 2 hours was up.

I've never had any problem with hotel security and agree with the others that the nicer the hotel is the less problematic the staff is.

I have never had a problem with hotel staff and guys I was hiring when traveling to various cities...knock on wood!!! In fact, this topic brought to mind the first time I hired Apollo Phoenix back when he worked through Maximum Escorts in NYC as Logan. I had no direct contact with him that first time, only with the man at Maximum Agency, whom I advised that I was staying in a boutique hotel in midtown which required a key card to access the rooms at all times. He advised me he would tell Logan to call me on my room phone upon arrival so I could come to the lobby and bring him up to my room. The time was approaching for our session so I was nervously waiting by the phone, when there was a knock on my hotel room door. I looked through the spyhole and Apollo was standing right outside my door!

When I opened the door, there was this bigger than life bodybuilder, wearing a tight white cut-off t-shirt and bright red short shorts, leaving very little to the imagination (it was a warm May afternoon!) but physically and sexually overwhelming standing there, looking hotter than any picture could ever look, waiting for me to invite him in. I was so overwhelmed and turned on, I think I mumbled something about expecting him to call so I could retrieve him from the lobby and how did he get to my room without a key card? Once I closed the door and he was in my room with his huge arms around me, kissing me deeply, I completely forgot all about how he circumvented having a key card. Later, after our session, he told me there had been a couple of charming young ladies on the elevator who were more than happy to drop him on my floor! That particular appointment, only a year or so after the very first time I hired an escort, remains one of the hottest escort experiences I have ever had!!!

Some escorts realize that it is quite simple to circumvent hotel policies if they put their natural charm/attractiveness to use and act as if they belong! The first time I hired Andrew Justice in Chicago, though, was exciting because I did go to the lobby to meet him and seeing his smiling face from across the lobby and then secretly grinning at each other on the crowded elevator until we got to my floor, made me anticipate our private time even more. Mr. Justice was also physically overwhelming when meeting him the first time!

Thanks for sharing guys, it makes me feel a little better to know I'm not the only one out there who has run into this problem.

Is there a checklist of experiences that tells you you are now a veteran at hiring escorts? there has to be a better name for it than that. I only hire a few times a year, but after 15 years i've checked off quite a few.

Been hassled by hotel security ... check

Escort wasn't the guy in the pics ... check

Escort demanded payment up front, then took off after 15 minutes ... check

Escorts online photos were obviously from 20 years ago ... check

Escort stood you up ... check

Escort was too high or drunk to preform ... check

Escort gave a little foreplay, then informed you that any actual sex would cost more than the discussed price... check

Halfway through an appointment, there was a knock on the door, it was the escorts next client booked 30 minutes after yours ... check

Escort gives you an STI even though he swears he was clean and a condom was used ... check

Hired through a high end agency, paid up front, and the escort never showed. money was never refunded ... check

Escort claims to love kink, or be a top, or kiss, etc. but when you get there they just want to bottom or handjob... check check check

I would be interested in seeing what other common things could be added to the checklist, just so I know what to look forward to.

After thinking about it, I feel pretty certain his threat to call the cops was just a bluff to get me out of the building. I had already disturbed one of their guests, and there was a lot of obvious judgment going on. He knew I was there for a random hookup. I don't know if he considered weather or not I was paying, just the fact that I didn't know who I was meeting. I'm pretty sure he only brought up the cops to get me to leave. After all, what could they have charged me with? Loitering? Still, it worked. I got the hell out of there even before I knew I was in the wrong hotel. It could have been the right one with the most amazing escort ever and I still would have left.

It was very disappointing and it was a bit humiliating.

I just checked and you have been a member here for two years or so. I can guarantee if you joined 15 years ago the checklist would have been much shorter. I joined after 3-4 years of hiring after getting somewhat scammed. Since then the experiences have been mostly stellar. There have been a few bumps in the road, but nothing totally disastrous. Best move that I ever made as there is a lot of knowledge available here!

I've never had a problem. Though I've looked into Airbnb's lately.

About a year ago I met a RM for a weekend at a hotel in NYC with a very intimate lobby. There were no entry or elevator restrictions so my fellow was able to come right up to the room. Our first of several get-togethers.

Fellow left before I did on the final day after our multiple-night stay. During my check-out/settling the bill, one of the desk clerks asks if I'd share the RM's contact info. Kept to myself. (not sharing homework)

I am happy to report that my arm was paralyzed when it came to chewing the above list . . . not a single check!

and not from lack of trysts - after all, I'm Funguy and certain people have called me a slut! well-meaning tho :D

And you have been referenced as being a slut in more than one language from what I have heard! ;)
