Very sorry to hear of your CV Episode. My Mom had a stroke shortly after her Dialysis treatments started in 1997. She was put on a drug called Plavix which is a blood thinner. After she had her kidney transplant she had a very small series of strokes and was then placed on a drug called Aggrenox. Strokes can sometimes be "no big deal" as to Parkinson's has her in it's grip. CV wise she is doing well. The meds available for your recovery are extremely helpful and you may not ever have another episode again. The only downside is the cost of the medications. I do hope that you have a good insurance plan, either through work or private. At any rate, I wish the best for you and will be praying for you and yours...

I was stunned when I read about your stroke. It really hits close to home for me and I was thinking of just such an event happing in my life before I read your post.

 

We all wish you a speedy recovery. It can sometimes take a while but it can be complete and actually put you in better shape with good therapy. Had a couple of other friends go through this and the outcome was very positive.
