There was a chapter in porn star Rick Donovan's biography in which he thought he was being recorded having sex. He found it kind of hot, and mentioned that to the guy the next morning, who was completely dumfounded. On certain surgical consents, there is a space for videorecording. Considering the usual "prepping and draping" of patients, patient identification would be virtually impossible. What wasn't done, however, was getting the consent of everyone else in the Operating Room.

 

Since I was an "employee at will" [? right term] for my entire career, I never signed a blanket consent for my corpus to be photographed / videotaped.

Given the prevalence of recording.... often secret....

Does anyone, escort or client, scan a room, look around, to be certain there are no recording devices present?

On one hand, that would seem paranoid to me. On the other, is it a prudent act given the times we live in? Even for non escort/client activities.
