Why don't many escorts return calls or emails?

It seems like I'm having problems getting escorts to return my calls or emails. This happens both with relatively unknown guys as well as at least one guy who's well-known both in the industry and on this forum. Back when I lived in Chicago, I tended to see the same guys and didn't have this problem, but now that I've moved and must travel to where the escorts are, it's becoming a problem. As I say, it isn't a problem for every escort, but it gets frustrating when most of my calls go unreturned. Any thoughts?

Could be any number of reasons. Please don't take it personal. If they don't respond, leave a message and move on to the next choice. If and when he gets back to you, if you want to see still him, do so.

 

Worrying about the why's and why nots, with a person you haven't built some type of rapport with is counter-productive.

 

You'll find somebody who'll suit your needs/desires eventually, just cast a wider net and don't stress over the Johnny come lately's.

I get more responses via text than I do by calling or emails. I believe we live in a texting society right now.

Could be several reasons that are unknown as to why an escort wouldn't return a phone call or email right away. I know as for me - I try to return a client's call right away as soon as I get the text or voicemail message. When I don't answer right away it could be I'm either sleeping, In a session with a client to where I can't respond right away or away on vacation with a client, but do make it a point to get back to the client right away when I can break away to do so.

Big-n-tall is right to not take it personal as the escort as I mentioned in my previous post maybe so severely occupied doing other things is that he can't comply right away as he wish. Usually best to move on to the next escort as if the original first choice you contacted is unavailable - move on to the next, and when the original escort you contacted responds - plan for a future meeting so he'll be aware you still have tentative interest meeting up. .

no utter expert here, but some hints I can think of include:

 

-- if emailing, put city and date in the subject line, if known

 

-- be discreet in the initial contact and don't mention or ask about money matters

 

-- be to-the-point, professional, brief, specific

 

-- describe yourself very briefly and accurately

 

-- if emailing, also send a text that you emailed them

 

-- be very polite, friendly, respectful

 

-- and, yeah, texting seems to be the way to go these days, though I sometimes need email for longer notes

In the smaller cities, there isn't always much of a wider net to cast. And I'm not talking about Johnny come lately's. I'm talking about well-known guys.

I find that some escorts are faster than others at returning emails. This evening, in fact, I emailed an escort and he got back to me within minutes. My experience is that most guys will respond within a day. If a guy is with a client, he might take a little while longer. Sometimes, emails simply don't go through or get snared in a spam filter and other times they might get lost in the shuffle.

Either way, hearing things from here, that's likely the reason!

 

Some have absolutely no clue about the business aspects. I was spoiled in that my first escort was very prompt and always responded in complete sentences too boot. He also said that it was the most difficult part of the job! Having been in a business that relied on scheduling appointments that is definitely the case!

CB is spot on here. For those that say every escort have access to email or a text at all times is just not true. For those that travel extensively, connecting with the Internet can sometimes be problematic, and then as emails and texts pile up, everything begins to snowball.

 

I think it's easy to write someone off if they don't respond, but the truth is, most escorts have complicated lives...like the rest of us.

i mentioned n another thread, there is an app for Gmail users which tracks your email and notifies you when someone has opened (received) that email. No tracking response = not opened by recipient, yet.

Ted, try the most direct line like a phone call or a text. Or follow up an email with a text to let them know you have sent something. This has worked for me in the past, with new hires and with gentlemen I have seen before who suddenly no longer respond. Multiple non-responses indicate you are approaching your email wrong or your email domain has a problem that sends it to their spam box or a filter.

An anecdote from many years ago: I contacted an escort when he announced that he would be visiting NYC. He was and is still well known in and around these parts. He never responded. I didn't loose any sleep over it. A year later he returns to NYC and out of the clear blue I get an email from him as if I had just sent my inquiry out the previous day saying how nice it would be if we would be able to connect. I guess unlike the previous year business was a bit slow.

 

Needless to say I felt as though he was scraping the bottom of the barrel hoping that someone would bite, and I was one of those at the bottom of his barrel. Maybe you should text a couple of times first and if they don't reply just move on to the next guy.

In any case it's always bad for business to be so unreliable, there's always time to text, call, email back saying I'm busy or out of town during your trip.

Good to know for other kind of business and also for personal reasons but in this case (hiring an escort) if he doesn't reply I would just move and hire someone else.

 

WhatsApp has a similar system, many companies use it to verify their employees get the memos.

1. I'm figuratively tied up

2. I'm literally tied up

3. I'm in a sleep sack

4. I'm recovering from being in a sleep sack and can't feel my hands so I can't type
