Why leave all the fun to the LA group? :) A group of us have been talking in NYC about having a NYC dinner on Monday, March 8th. We would meet for dinner and then anyone who wants can then take the party over to the Gaiety. If there is any interest in this, lets get it going.

Sofia's

I've had several members e-mail me who are planning to attend the event. I have a great restaurant that is on 46th Street that I think would be nice to meet at called Sofia's. It is Italian and not too expensive. And, it is right next to the Gaiety so the crowd there can move over to the show at Gaiety after dinner if they want. I made the reservations for 30 guys for 7PM but they can be canceled if others think this is not a good place. Any input is appreciated!

RE: Sofia's

It's right across from the Marriott Marquis, too.

I had dinner there with some escort who was so beautiful, no one paid any attention to me, until I fell off my chair, pretending to have a heart attack.

Just another restaurant in New York where I am not welcomed.

I'm sorry I'm stuck in Hong Kong and won't be able to show up, pretending to be John Blair..or the "Beast".....or Denise...or New York Observer, who is really a cool guy. He would never fall out of his chair, but he owns it at the Gaiety. NYO, please I hope you know I am just kidding you.

RE: Sofia's

TotallyOz... Thanks for getting the ball rolling on this gathering. I've tried Sofia's (at the Edison Hotel) several times and would recommend it. Monday is also a good night since we won't have to deal with the theatre crowd. I'll see you at 7pm.

Hello all. The time is set. The place is set. Our first meeting with be on Monday, March 8, 2004 at Sofia's on 46th Street between 8 and Broadway. I know that we have a table set for 30 but they said they can be flexible. So, if we can get a straw count of how many will attend, I'll go over early and make sure things get set up ok.

I will have a group of 4 attending. So, we are up to four. :)
