So I normally hire incalls either at home or when I'm on a trip with a rental car. I'm going on a business trip where it just doesn't make sense to get a rental car. My hotel has pay parking. If I hire an outcall who comes to my hotel, am I supposed to pay for his parking? (I assume I should, but I wanted to check here.)

It depends. If you feel comfortable discussing it with your hire in advance, that would probably be best. There are too many variables to say for sure (i.e. public transportation, uber, cab etc.). There are some escorts that would leave it up to you as to not seem like they are nickel and diming you to death or have included the variables in the outcall rate they set.

I always pay for an escort's parking if they come to my hotel (and if it has pay parking!)....and I tell him this ahead of time.....and I just add the cost in cash to his fee....no muss, no fuss......

Absolutely yes.

I disagree. It is only paid as part of compensation if discussed and agreed in advance. The comparison is cab fare, which some escorts ask as part of their compensation for an out call.

Cities, even in America, have public transportation. Many hotels are in areas where there is convenient free on-street parking or garages that are much cheaper than the hotel.

Yup. Usually easiest to just have him charge it to your room.

Some time ago I had a client who came to visit me at my hotel for an in-call and he charged his valet parking to my room. I discoverd about it when checking out the hotel ... :)

I think everyone should pay for his own parking, unless otherwise discussed!

Communication! (repeat three times)

I must say, I have never considered paying for the parking. I pretty much thought that local travel expenses were the obligation of the person doing the traveling. Next time I meet with Steven or any other escort at his hotel, I will ask for parking validation as well as the usual prowess validation: You were great, now get the fuck out.

it's a class move to pay for a guys parking. just do it. if paying for an escorts parking is going to break you, you probably shouldn't be hiring in the first place ;)

I'm with purplekow...have done many hotel appointments and have never been asked (or thought about ) paying parking. Some escorts charge higher rate per hour for outcalls, some don't. I don't debate with that and so I think if parking fees are an issue, they should change their rate. Most of us don't get our transportation to work paid for, so I see no difference here. Longer distance travelling is a different story.

Personally, I don't drive, so any such offer would be unnecessary. My outcall rate reflects the added time, effort and expense of doing an outcall locally. If I am asked to travel beyond my local area, or if the client wants an outcall ASAP requiring a taxi, I will customize my rate.

It's important to me to be a good host, and if I'm inviting someone to my hotel, I feel it's a nice thing to do. I usually just let the parking guys know I'm expecting a guest and please bill to my room.

Fascinating. I must say that I've never even thought of this issue before. If I hire in New York City, it's not an issue because I usually hire incalls, or if it's an outcall where I've gotten a hotel, the mass transit options render the matter irrelevant. But I've hired a bunch in Los Angeles, where parking is outrageous, and I'm ashamed to say I've not given the matter much thought. I think as a general matter, purplekow and others are right that except in extreme situations, travel costs are one's own responsibility. But I like to be a generous host, so now I feel bad that I've had guys incur an extra expense that I always lament over when I'm picking L.A. area hotels. Perhaps I should just discuss in advance. Although for one of my L.A. regulars, his outcall rate is significantly higher than his incall rate, so there'd be no need in his case. For others, I might consider arranging it to be billed to my room. It's so fascinating what we do, or don't think about, and I consider myself to be an extremely considerate person. Goes to show there's always room for growth...
