You may answer honestly. Just trying to see what gets the most feedback.

I have a photoshoot coming up with Charlotte & Riley. (Be aware, if you do not like to see naked women, do NOT click either of those links.)

I was just curious, though; the photoshoot will be with body paint. We will all be covered, rubbing it on each other, etc. They're doing photos for their duos, however I will be doing photos with the both of them as well. So my question is, is it a good idea or not to upload these photos to my ads. I'm not sure how comfortable some people would be with me having them as part of my ad. I know some men probably wouldn't give it too much thought, and I also know the final opinion is entirely up to me and how I would like to promote myself moving forward, but I would still want to avoid posting them if there's a chance it could drive business away.

Opinions?

Hi Elliot.

BTW, congratulations on your first excellent review! Just in my opinion as a gay client, when I see an ad with an escort who identifies himself as gay but has a woman or women in his pictures, I find it confusing. Looking at your RB ad, the pix you have posted make you look quite sexy and desirable. I can’t speak for anyone else here though. Perhaps a bi-guy or straight/experimenting man might not have any problem. You might even possibly be contacted by a woman client (there are some ladies on this forum) who might hope to make use of your services. I don’t know. Back to that review, it sounds like you understand the business pretty well as it is!!! This is just my opinion and I hope others will give you their feedback on this topic. Best wishes, Elliot.

My concern about seeing such photos in an ad is I wonder if the guy is actually into men sexually. I don't hire so-called straight or gay-for-pay guys.

Well I am most definitely gay. I am just very comfortable with these girls. I've been working as their "assistant" for a while and they actually opened my eyes to the world of escorting. They're both very good friends of mine, so we can do those kinds of photoshoots without things being awkward.

Long story short, I'm about as straight as a mountain highway. Haha.

Thank you for your input and compliments on my review! I truly appreciate it.

If the photoshoot was not 12 hours from now I could potentially find a good looking male partner to do the photos with, however since it wasn't too far planned ahead, it's just going to be me and the girls. :-/

Not that that is a bad thing; but having worked in retail and food service most of my high school/college career, I've adapted to the "whatever the customer wants" [obviously, to an extent] attitude. I want my persona to adhere to the satisfaction of the client.

I agree with Maninsoma. Such photos create confusion for me as to if the guy is truly into male-male sex or not. When I see such photos on Rentboy or other sites with women included I completely write the escort off my list and never take interest in his advertisements again. Some will call this misogyny but I really don't care.

If the escort claims to be bisexual that's fine. I've hired bi guys before and had decent experiences. But not a one of them included women in their advertising. If they had I would have lost interest.

Elliot, as others here, if I see a guy in photos w women or in bi porn, I quickly lose interest. I have met my share of gay-for-pay and regretted every dollar and minute wasted.

I dislike very much the studios such as Sean Cody or others that first show the guy solo, then with a female porn actress, then getting his "first" blow job, then topping, then bottoming and finally in hit sweaty full bareback... I get confused on who and what he is and I am sure HE is too.

You have done yourself a favor here explaining the background to the photo shoot, but hope others can fund a link here to dispel any doubts - and kudos on your great review today!

Hi, Elliot ... I guess that by posting your question in this section of the forum, you're primarily looking for feedback from other escorts, but from a client perspective I can only tell you that I wouldn't enjoy your pictures as much as I have if there were women in them with you. When I'm thinking about man-to-man time, the last thing I want to see is a woman getting to touch you instead of me. (If that sounds selfish, my only defense is that I wouldn't mind seeing another GUY smear body paint on you!) Whatever you decide, I'll just say again that I've admired your pictures--and enjoyed the candid and friendly tone of your posts on this site. Congrats on the great review you just got--and to the lucky reviewer who got to share that time with you.

A general rule of sales is to know your target audience. If you wish to fill a niche for men who want do to three ways with a guy and girl or for men who are turned on by being with men who are with women, then include those man-woman photos. The larger audience for male escorts are men who want to be with a man. Many of them have been with women or have female partners and reminding them of that by having women in the picture probably rules you out as a hire for some of them. i recommend keeping those photos out of ads that are intended for man on man activity, possibly keeping one particularly hot one for distribution to those who ask about adding a lady or adding it to the private section of some ad sites with a throw away mention that you can supply a female partner as well.

I believe you are probably thinking of Corbin Fisher - I can't recall Sean Cody using women (except off-camera in the VERY early days).

All of these have been great replies and I appreciate the honesty of you guys' posts. What I'm guessing for the most part is that I should steer clear of posting the pictures... Apart from the ones of me by myself covered in paint. We will all be on the upcoming tour so we're trying to get a fresh shoot in before heading to Richmond.

Not knowing the back story, including pictures of you with women on your ad would make me less likely to hire you for the reasons others have stated. Most guys are visual. They look at the pictures in your ad first, and then if they are still interested they will read what you have to say. I'm sure there are exceptions to this, but I think most guys use the pictures to make an initial judgment. Pictures of you with women will create ambiguity about your sexual orientation. You can explain why you included such pictures in the text, but many guys won't bother to read that far.

An alternative would be to explain in the text that you are gay and are not sexually attracted to women, but you are touring with two ladies and can see guys who are bi together with one or both of the women. You can also note that you have pictures of a photo shoot with you and the women available for guys who want additional information on that scenario.

Maybe you could be a new classification: "gay but bi-curious" or how about "gay but straight-curious."

Since I've read your backstory here, I wouldn't be dismissive if you had females in your picture. Generally, however, I would move on in ad perusal.

By the way - nice review. Any plans to return to Philly?

I most definitely plan on it! Matter of fact how far is it from DC? And thanks :-)

I do not hire escorts who pose with women, as other posters have said, it is confusing and your clients will question whether or not you are really into men, or women or both. If you want to pose with your friends for their sites, that is your own business, but in this day and age, others are likely to find those sites and your pictures too. You have to decide what you want to do, but you asked for feedback and that is mine.

I appreciate your honesty. I've pretty much decided that posting the photos won't be too great for business. I may pose in some with them just for fun. But I'd rather play is safe when it comes to advertising. I am definitely fullygay though, there's no doubt about that. Haha!

In my opinion, the photos in your ad should include one person - you.

I agree with this sentiment. It doesn't matter so much whether the other person is a woman or a man, I prefer it just be a pic of the escort by himself. It comes across as more personal.

If I see an ad with women, that is an immediate turn off for me. The guy can be everything I want but in my mind is the thought he is not really gay and enjoys women. Nothing wrong with that at all, but for me I go to the next ad.

Could you keep your current picture and email the new set to potential clients who contact you and say they are into "straight acting" types?
