Even if JJ just posted photos, he would be an important part of this site.

 

As far I'm concerned he can post as many pictures in the Gallery as he wants.

 

But the constant bickering with other posters became a pattern that I do not particularly enjoy. I wish he could get off his high horse sometimes and tell less what other people should do in a self-righteous manner.

My point is it is a little strange that most if not all Posts all of a sudden were directed at the Gallery considering how prolific Kirkwood was from day 1 on the other forums. Nothing about how long guys have been on Daddys whatsoever...

 

Will Kirkwood be back? I'm sure in one form or another IF he isn't already! ;)

 

Well, his gallery postings were received more favorably than many of his other postings.

I agree about the bickering - but it takes 2 to bicker. Sometimes JJ started it, but not always. And some here have admitted to baiting him.

 

I still think that civil disagreement is preferable. Once you start tossing names & insults, you're no longer making an effective argument.

I agree he will be back if he is allowed to be back by daddy. I don't know if it's gotten to the point of a permanent ban. In my view, posting in daddy's world is primarily a chess game for jj. He will do whatever is needed to get attention and increase his likability factor with as many posters as possible. That's why he started the gallery postings. I had jj figured out within a few weeks of him joining the forum. He has fully met my expectations ever since then.

I don't get the whole time out thing either or even banning someone. Can't a person just set up a new email address, create a new handle, then change their ip address or get software that hides your ip.
Time-Outs make sense to me because it's a mandatory "Step Away From The Keyboard, this is only anonymous posting by clients and escorts sharing things in common."

 

In theory, and by confirmation of the moderators, there is nothing that keeps a person from posting under multiple nom de keyboard (clavier?). And some do, and the moderators are aware of them - because they're getting IP addresses of posters and probably even the MAC address of their devices. You could also employ a VPN but I don't see Daddy blocking multiple personalities automatically.

HA-HA-HA, methinks you protest too much. You started with arguing the last point without discussing my prior points. Then you added psycho to queens - be careful, those words appeared in a recent Timed-Out Member's post contemporaneously with their exit to Time-Out.

 

Maybe I am reading your posts with the knowledge that you and jjkrkwood were timed-out together this past year for similar flaming posts about each other. It could be my perceptions but it sure seems as though your fingers are set to typing in grudge mode.

 

P.S. I'm 57 and highly aware that growing old is Mandatory, but growing up is OPTIONAL! Claiming chronological age as a sign of maturity is Total Male Bovine Excrement - in my mind, the one who stoops to chronological age has already lost the argument that he's mature - it's prima facie evidence that the logician is illogical.

I agree that I don't particularly enjoy it either. So I don't tune in. I guess that's why I don't really know how this banning came about. When people start trading insults, they just make themselves look stupid. I can't say that this kind of stuff keeps me up at night, or gives me the vapors, or anything else. If something bothers you, the simplest thing to do is to ignore it.

operalover21: I had the same thought regarding a lone post in the Destination section under Australia/Africa/Asia. It was posted a week ago from someone who wanted information on Mumbai. I'm not sure how long a thread stays visible but I'm pulling for the poster, mature_guy, that someone who has been to Mumbai will see it!

Banal threads? Isn't the fact true that we get the message board we deserve? One thing we posters can do is go to our profile, search the threads that we have started, and then see if they live up to our own expectations for the message center. If not, who has the power to change the type of threads you start?

That maybe some "usually disgruntled" Poster's should be thinking about why they hangout on Daddys?

Not a thing actually :) Jibber Jabber is probably more correct but, heck, this is the internet not Mr. Myers' 10th grade English class so I am never that careful!
