How on Earth would I, or anyone here? I hear that Suckrates might be in the know.

 

It's very easy for someone to know this information if they communicate with any banned individual via private email. People here do that you know.

I still don't understand why anyone is offended or bothered by posts. Outside of the obvious confidentiality concerns, how can one be so affected by anonymous posters and comments? Don't read the threads or posts!

 

Again, the most controversial of threads always garner the most reads and responses. It strikes me as weird when we can discuss tonguing a strangers ass with Shakespearean grace, yet quiver at name calling and moniker quarrels.

 

There really is a pattern of over censorship and heavy handed, unneeded guidance.

 

Like many others, I occasionally need to remind myself not to take the board too seriously. The consequences of some anonymous person in another part of the country disagreeing with me are rather minimal to my real life. Why I ever give them the power to annoy me is a mystery, but I certainly feel annoyed less than I ever have here. Just wait two days and the board has moved on to the next topic.

I suspect that JJ will return, feel very welcome, start slow, and then step on the gas until it happens again. This is his pattern, and one of the many moniker characteristics that I enjoy - almost as much as I enjoy him taking the bait, every time without fail. JJ would make a terrible lake perch. Thank God we practice catch and release here .. most of the time.

 

Oh, and "guilt?" I read that and dropped my cigarette .. literally!

Where escorts are concerned, I support Daddy 100%. Escorts are not anonymous, and untruths or defamatory actions can be truly damaging, and, in many instances dangerous. Moniker fights seem like kindergarten (thank God for spell check, 20 years of schooling and I spelled it "kindergarden") when regulated. Again, it's not my sand box and I'm here by choice.

Well, when JJ returns, I invite him to put the past behind him and try to get a fresh start. He does not like me, or his perception of me, and I think if we both try to forget the past and work on the future that we can remedy the negative feelings. At least that is the invitation I make.

However, I totally disagree with your comment about a pattern of over-censorship - you don't have all the facts. I've experienced through the private message system here ABSOLUTE VENOM from another poster - after one of his time-outs ended. To the point that he blamed me for HIS TIMEOUT. You just don't understand all that Daddy and the Moderators can see, do see and deal with quietly and professionally.

 

That or your still hot about being Timed-Out yourself.

Although I confess that I don't know what the issue was, I tend to be on the side of less rather than more censorship. Unicorn, if it's important to you, you can find the offender's Profile Page and from there click on a link that shows 'Recent Posts' that will give you all their posts from Most Recent to Older. You can probably read their posts - even out of content to their respective thread and see some reason why the Moderators might have pulled their plugs. From what I've surmised by reading Messers jjrkwood and RockHard, they were doing some confrontational name-calling in their rapid-fire posts on the same thread that day. Both posters can get to extremes extremely fast, and have gone at one another in the past. I'd rather imagine if they were to happen to be seated side-by-side at some gentlemen's club, they would gradually get very drunk enjoying each other's sarcastic sense of humor, with raised eyebrows and strong guffaws. But the text in a thread brings out great misunderstanding of sarcasm and humor - sometimes it sounds VERY STERN and judgmental, when in person it would sound RIOTIOUSLY FUNNY.

 

Methinks Daddy was quick on the plug given the nature of these two double offenders (this is neither's First Offense), the holiday season and what appears Daddy's general attitude about his Message-Forum being populated by GENTLEMEN. All admirable traits. He also resurrected a thread from last Christmastime warning us again that the Grinch can still the Message-Forum's Christmas. So we all should steel ourselves against attacking one another, lest the entire forum take a vacation.

 

I have quite often been the offender in the past, probably skirting Daddy's bundle of switches myself on more than one occasion, but I still applaud Daddy for his long-suffering in the name of this forum, while he metes out his justice in his own inimitable way. The only one to cheer here is Daddy and his Moderators.

I would argue that the board has died a bit in recent years. JJ doesn't bring life (IMO) to the board, in that he rarely presents a convincing argument or offers advice of use to the posters. The pics can be nice though. Perhaps he should stick to that? I had to give up Bacardi last year because I was a professional cunt after drinking it. We all must adjust.

I agree. Even if JJ just posted photos, he would be an important part of this site. But, I also enjoy many of his posts. Just not sure why citylaw feels differently, but he's more than welcome to a different opinion.

I have NEVER appreciated the “time out” concept. I have also NEVER understood why an anonymous poster on this site could be offended, hurt, or devastated by what another anonymous poster has to say about them – why do they give a shit. I have said it before and I will continue to say it ad nauseam people should care what their family and friends think of them but what absolute strangers think of them should be totally irrelevant. If some of you think things get heated around here now you should have been participating when Hooboy was alive and running the show. One thread after another was on fire. Now with all of this said I fully recognize that Daddy is currently running the show and that this is his playpen and he has a perfect right to run it anyway he wishes.
