I would prefer to pay $300.00 for someone I know I will enjoy than $200.00 for a "somewhat good" encounter. It would be great if the guy I want for $300.00 only charged $200.00 but I like quality encounters over quantity of encounters I could afford.

I get your point, but quality and price do not go hand in hand. I have payed a high hourly rate for some pretty mediocre experiences. Conversely, I see a guy in San Francisco that is awesome and charges $200 per hour. Yet he never watched the clock and so the hourly rate is even lower.

$300 is not unusual these days given the cost of living in metropolitan areas. It doesn't offend me, although I think twice about hiring at that rate--better be something special. Also, I have hired at least one premium escort in Vegas at $300 for one hour, but $500 for two hours which for someone you want to spend some time with, is not a bad deal at all. Similarly, in Hamburg I hired a spectacular young man for $250 per hour, but $400 for 2 hours plus dinner at a nice restaurant (the meal of course was on me, but the company delightful.) Also, when an escort charges $200 or $250 and delivers way beyond my expectations, I tend to tip generously. For example, if he charges $200 and rocks my world, I'll leave him $250.

I just cannot envision the day that I would pay $300 dollars an hour to see an escort. That is just too much. Some guys on here talk about it as though they are proud to pay that much. Suckers!

How much would you pay?

Do guys who pay 250 are less suckers, what about the ones who pay 200...?

Exactly, I guess in other cities the prices must be lower.

Hey,for many escorts this is their living. No pension plan no insurance. travel expenses possible limited career span.I have told a few escorts they should raise their rates.Good escorts earn every penny and I am not a wealthy man

In some other countries, it is a lot lower--Thailand and the Czech Republic for example.

I'm not even lying. The best session I've EVER had with an escort and the reason I became enamored and fascinated with escort lifestyle, was a guy I met in midtown, Manhattan (NYC) a year ago who charged me $60 to "be" with him and we went to a small/cheepy bath house close by with private rooms, and ohhh my goddd. I still fantasize about it lol. He was a really pale skinned Dominican boy with ice blew eyes that'll make you melt and a cock big/fat enough to freeze you in your steps. Can't wait to see him again. We've been texting each other ever since I left the city.

By the way, I met him in a sex shop lol.

Every once in a while life throws you an unexpected treat.

The best escorts out there are charging 250+. If you want it all: body, looks, service, skill etc. that's what you'll have to pay. There's no way you could compare a Nick Sterling, Killian James or David Benjamin to someone charging $150/HR, especially in a market like NYC, and trust me I've hired them all multiple times, and two of them I've hired together. If he's out there I'd like to know about it. Someone also brought up a good point. Someone charging more isn't seeing lots of people. A well known escort on the board incessantly raves about how many clients he sees, it's because he's charging $150/HR. The top notch guys aren't client hopping, I assure you, and many of them aren't catering to the crowd that's always crying poverty.

If you intend to hire for more than an hour, the stated hourly rate can be misleading. Recently I hired someone who charges $300 an hour, for 3 hours. He reduced his rate for the second and third hours and charged me $650. I have also hired someone who charges $200 an hour for 3 hours. There was no reduction and he charged me $600. I was the first guys only client for the day and he was exceptional. I know I wasn't the second guys only client that day as he texted me to say he was running late with a client. His service was mediocre at best. He didn't get hard and I ended up jacking myself off.

Which leads me to ask the question - are guys who charge $300 an hour more likely to reduce their rates for longer hires, than guys who charge lesser amounts?

I suspect yes.

I guess the key is to politely and respectfully ask if there is a lower fee for multiple hours. But at the same time this goes against my policy of never haggling with an escort over his rates. There has also been much discussion about this on the forum.

What the hell is this? Spoiled much? Ill spend $300 on the total package, even then I feel like i'm getting a deal.. Like amir, yummy.. Look at the women, they charge anywere from 400-1600. Cheap, whats next your gonna be looking for coupons for guys. Wow, with this behavior maybe you should pick another hobby.

It’s always interesting when escort fees are discussed how insulting and catty some posters can be about someone else having a fulfilling experience for a lower fee than the poster routinely pays. I’ve never understood the need for that.

I find that $200 to $300 is pretty much fair market price. Someone advertising significantly over or under those amounts generally gives me pause. Of course there are always exceptions. For big places like NY or LA it is generally good to go with a known commodity charging a normal rate. Would you hire an escort in NYC for $100? What kind of person would you be likely to get for that kind of money? Clean, honest, drug free, safe??? I don't think so. Now if you picked up a cute kid in a park in Rome, you might have a fine time and he might be very happy with $100, but that is a totally different situation.
