It’s always interesting when escort fees are discussed how insulting and catty some posters can be about someone else having a fulfilling experience for a lower fee than the poster routinely pays. I’ve never understood the need for that.

 

Uh huh.....some folks believe in fairy tales for so long that they convince themselves that anyone charging less than 200 must be trash. They are silly people, blinded by a touch of snobbery. Oh, and the other myth is that certain high-dollar, high profile escorts have all this schedule flexibility because they see so few clients, and give you their all and their best. Just building on that... I have NEVER felt more like a number than when I hired a well reviewed popular 300 and up an hour guy. I guess there really is something to this. They even contacted me the day of the appointment to "move my start time up" so they could obviously fit in another. I accommodated them, but in my mind I laughed, picturing one of those old appointment books completely scheduled with every single block filled in... back-to-back-to-back- appointments all day long. That's why I pass on these guys too, always regret every time I have made an exception.

I guess the key is to politely and respectfully ask if there is a lower fee for multiple hours. But at the same time this goes against my policy of never haggling with an escort over his rates. There has also been much discussion about this on the forum.

I just ask, "How much would you expect for 2 hours of your companionship?" Nothing awkward about that. I am not haggling, I am simply asking for the rate. I let the escort name the price. I recently booked a top quality (from all reports) escort in SF whose asking rate is $250 per hour. I explained what I was looking for and asked him his rate for 2 hours--he told me $350. I said I was cool with that. Plus, I hear the guy is charming and nice to hang out with--good. My take is that 2 hour sessions can be a plus both for the client and for the escort. The client benefits from a more relaxed atmosphere and a better opportunity to get to know the escort before jumping into bed. The escort benefits from having to charm and adjust to one new person instead of two in a 2 hour time frame. Let's face it, with a 2 hour meeting, how much more than 1 hour consists of intense physical activity and how much with socializing or just cuddling? My point being, it is less physically demanding on the escort to spend 2 hours with one client than 1 hour each with 2 clients. If, on the other hand, the escort in question has limited communication and social skills, but a huge dick, anything more than an hour might wind up being awkward, although that might come down to a question of stamina. Mine ain't what it used to be.

Just ask. What's so hard about that? Many guys who offer discounts for additional hours list their rates for 2, 3 and up hours until it reaches their daytime rate (if any), overnight rate (usually covers 12 or more hours, but must confirm), or 24-hour rate anyway, but if they don't, it's not negotiating to ask what the charge would be.

 

Notice I suggest asking what the charge would be for x hours where x>1, not whether there is a discount for multiple hours. Though my reaction to no discount for multiples would probably be "Oh, you don't discount for additional hours" because I would be taken aback and probably wouldn't hire. As someone who has never hired for an hour (and actually has never hired anyone who sees clients for that short a period; their minimum is either 90 minutes or 2 hours), I prefer escorts whose business model favors longer appointments.

 

At least if you know the rate for the first hour, that sets an outer limit for multiples of hours unless the escort has a really wonky rate structure.

To be fair some of the merry-go-round topics that pop up are because new forum members don't know about certain topics preexisting. They don't think about searching for a particular topic because maybe they aren't aware (initially) of the search function.

 

On the flip side, sometimes these topics pop up again and again because someone has an agenda or an axe to grind.

 

Personally, I think the best thing to do is say what you need to say. When and if something pops up again I feel has been repeated 1000 times... I just glaze over it... eventually.

 

But to the topic, yes, what you pay (a little or a lot) doesn't necessarily equate to satisfaction.

$300 for one hour or the first hour is my limit for an escort. Anything higher than that for an hour is too much, IMO. As long as the escort is good, then it is worth it.

I always ask for the rate for x hours. The escort can quote whatever he wishes. I never ask for a discount but the escort can freely discount his hourly rate for a multiple hour session should he so choose.

Exactly what I usually do, request a "session" or meet rate for two hours.

I read the hourly rate as 'rate for one hour' rather than 'rate per hour' so it is not haggling to ask for the rate for a multi-hour session. Some escorts quote session rates for a variety of lengths of meeting (some even cite a two hour minimum or $x for up to two hours). One escort here posted that his hourly rate applies to longer session on a first meeting but he has lower session rates after that. I don't recall why he did this, but he has done what we so often talk about here (often because of its absence), provide transparent information on what he charges.
