I've been with a few $300 an hour escorts and I guess I've been lucky with exception to one escort who I wrote a negative review for, but each of the other experiences were pretty amazing. I do, however, book multiple hours so after some negotiating the hourly rate works out to be $200-$250 per hour which isn't too bad. I really can't remember the last time I hired for just one hour. I've even plunk down $800 for a five hr dinner type date recently with one of the very very well reviewed guy here and it was at best an OK appointment because the chemistry wasn't there. As any retail merchant will state, there is a customer for every price point. Just because one customer might deem a $300 rate "outrageous" and "too expensive" does not mean that someone else won't find it a "bargain". But it's also true that expensive packaging does not exactly guarantee superior performance. Hence the importance of this site and the reviews. Clearly though with higher rates comes a heightened level of client expectation - the guy better deliver for that rate.

Also, consider that rates from $250 and up are an excellent way for the escort to weed out time wasters and flakes in some respects. Would you walk in to a BMW auto dealer if you could only afford a used Lancia? Not very likely. Thus when that $300 guy gets an inquiry he likely already has an idea that such client is at least partially serious about a booking. (Just like a BMW salesman knows the new customer on the lot can likely afford such a vehicle or he'd not be there looking around.)

Further it's up to the escort to decide just how hard he wants to work at earning his targeted income. Will a $50 differential have that much impact on potential earnings? Only the market can provide that answer.

I used to be in the no $300 price point category. But then by chance decided to hire a guy listed at that rate. ArVaGuy, while I agree with most of what you wrote, I'm not sure the car shopping analogy & the conclusion it is intended to support are valid. In our little world, we don't go the 'dealer' until we have made an arrangement to purchase. The time wasters and flakes use telephone & texting & emails and typically never actually show up for the appointment, according to the complaints we read here. If someone has no intention of actually going through with an appointment, I don't see that a higher price is any deterrent. They might even get a bigger thrill out of playing games with a more expensive escort.
