Todays 'review' of (Noah) Mini Driver doesn't pass the smell test. Frequentflyer says he paid $2500 up-front and Mini was a no show due to a water skiing accident / broken nose?

One more reason not to pay $ up-front Hoovillites, but I thought 'no-show' reviews weren't allowed...

Sorry but I disagree with you: I found the review credible. I did so because I felt the reviewer was quite moderate in his statements. He had not wanted to pay in advance but, having hired Noah before and having spent $ to book shows etc for the weekend, he felt pressured to do so. He commented mildly that the 'broken nose' was mentioned in Noah's blog (I see that it's in his blog post dated 7/21) but had not been mentioned to him directly.

I entirely agree that we should not pay upfront. It is invariably the prelude to being defrauded.

I agree, this review (from a first time reviewer) "feels" wrong to me for some reason. In FAQ for reviews it states "In general we look at these on a case-by-case basis. In general we "Hold" these type of reviews because if is very difficult to verify this type of situation." One can only assume that in this case Daddy had sufficient cause to not hold this no show review but only Daddy can clarify this if he cares to.

Fool me once.....

Guess we'll see if there's a reply by Mr. Driver....or not...?

...shame on Noah.

It's pretty insensitive on Noah's part. However, I'm sure most of us would like to give him the benefit of doubt and assume he did have an accident. Given the reviewer's past positive encounters with Noah, there was nothing that would give any indication that Noah would flake out. Noah should have followed up with an apology of some sort or an explanation for his no show.

If he did flake out, it's a good reminder to think twice about hiring him. I've had very little positive experiences with escorts in Texas....unfortunately.

I am sitting in San Antonio as I read the review and this thread. I have seen Noah several times in the past year and had a great time with him. Unfortunately I am another victim - i had an appointment scheduled on Saturday night but he did not show. Tried to contact him by phone, text message and email with no response.

I too got duped into paying a portion up front and that's my problem.

Be warned he is still maintaining his rent boy ad and his blog so I fear there are others out there who will be scammed.

I guess Ben didn't train this one very well.

The review seems to indicate the reviewer waited a month before writing the review with no response from ND. And ND did not respond to the review. If the review is true, then ND is simply a thief.

Maybe now we know why Mini went on the Spring spending spree.

As Good Captain KMEM said at the time, "It must be nice to doing so well that you are buying all that "stuff" when so many others are having a hard time. Oh, well."

BTW: Why didn't Frequentflyer write a review after one of his 4 'good' sessions with Driver?

Well, actually exactly the same thing happened to me in early August. ND was supposed to come to Key West for a couple of days with me and SmallTownJohn. I paid his airfare, and then on August 1, he begged for his fee up front, because a client had given him "a bad check". Then he never showed up, claiming the same story about an accident. Nothing since. I don't know whether I should write a review or not. Funny thing is, I did review ND before after an excellent weekend. He certainly now, however, seems to be spiraling downward. Should I write a no-show review? Or are they banned? The fact that he took money, and apparently is now indifferent to his obligations, makes me think I should. Advice?

The review submitted is true. I had a client who I had seen many times in the past send me money upfront. I really was in a lake accident which broke my nose and left me with two black eyes. When you are laying in a lake unconscious the last thing I would be able to do is perform and travel to Las Vegas. I was rushed to the hospital by friends and was there two days for observation. I am sure that made my client think I was going to be a "no show" but that was simply not the case. After three days when I could move my mouth without tremendous amounts of pain I tried to contact him through email and through phone calls. I had no response from either. I left voice mails explaining what happened and still no response. I really don't understand why I am writing this in a forum and did not have the chance to write this in a response to the review, I thought the escort always had the last word in reviews. Over the past few months I have done some serious amounts of soul searching and really took some time off to think if i could continue in this line of work. I really like the people I see and I know I have been MIA lately but I am getting my life together and will be back in my feet again soon. I am working things out privately with my clients. I just felt like I needed to get my side of the story out there. I am not a thief at all. I am a person who had a very very bad month, and now I am putting my life and work back in order.

Not only does the reviewer state you still have his money, but two additonal posters (so far) on this thread say you took money from them. Is this true? If true, do you still have their money? This isn't the way to go about getting your life together.

Noah, I for one appreciate you responding here and clarifying from your standpoint what happened. It takes a great deal of courage to admit an error and it sounds like you are not only taking responsibility for your actions but taking steps to address those that have been negatively impacted by them. I am glad that you are getting your life back on track and I wish you all the best. Everyone makes mistakes and the true measure of a person is determined by how they address those mistakes and those that have been harmed.

As far as responding to the review, I was under the impression also that you had the right for the last word in response. I suggest you email Daddy directly so that you are given that chance.

As he said he is "working things out privately with my clients", the plural makes me think he is going to address all those he wronged. Pure supposition on my part but he sounds genuinely full of regrets and that he intends to make amends, not only taking responsibility but also taking action.

Taking into account only the three clients that have come forward in the last few hours, I'd guess the amount taken to be $4,000-$5,000, maybe more if you consider the airfare. What do you want to bet that his means of making amends is to offer free or discounted sessions? I'd say "Show me the money!!!"

How Noah goes about making acceptable restitution to his clients will be very telling about the type of person he is and how serious he is about getting things back on track. He's taken the first step and taken responsibility. Now comes the second and more important step which is to make the clients whole again as best he is able. Unless the clients or Noah care to share with us here, we may never know what arrangements/agreements have been reached to settle the matter.

Since neither the reviewer nor either of the two scammed posters in this thread mentioned anything about ND attempting to make amends, he obviously didn't decide to take that "first step" until today.

Yes, being called out on the carpet in public by multiple clients is certainly a strong inducement to his mea culpa, especially if he intends to try to continue as an escort, and does raise questions about how genuine his comments are. However, many of the clients appear to have been repeats and have had very good experiences with him which tends to indicate, to me at least, that what he said about having a rough stretch is true and that it was more of an aberration than his norm. I guess at the end of the day I would like to believe he is genuinely contrite and would give him the benefit of the doubt if he did follow through by making restitution. Would I hire him in the future? I would be cautious but I believe I would if the opportunity came up.

"He's taken the first step and taken responsibility" I'd think that would come right after the problem. You say sorry things didn't happen. Here's your money back. Not after it becomes a topic for discussion. Too little…too late. This wouldn't fly (even once) with most of the other escorts. However, no matter what he does I think he'll still be defended by some here because he's considered hot, popular, or something. Love/lust is blind as they say.
