Do Escorts keep records of clients and meetings?

I recently contacted, by email, an escort whom I had met once, 4 years ago. He responded, implying that he knew who I am. I am wondering how many escorts do keep records that would allow them to go back a few years. I am not concerned, just curious. I, myself, do keep records of them.

An escort told me once that he kept a record of his clients by first name and email or phone number and then graded them based on how well the chemistry flowed and how well the appointment went. Admittedly, it really put me off at first, but then I realized that I would probably do the same if I were an escort; however, I wouldn't tell my clients.

At least he was being honest.

I keep some form of record about my regulars. For me my regulars are where I travel so I don't get to see them that often :( so I'll keep short notes on things that are going on & what not. I think any half assed escort keeps some sort of notes on clients. We of course are not the only ind that does this a good hair cutter will do the same for example.

Hugs,

Greg

I always find it interested how people ask questions that they really don't want the answer to. Not saying you, particularly...but, the saying does go, "people like to be lied to". I've said this a few times...and find this forum to be a double edged sword.

With that in mind, I won't talk about my policies, lol...but will speak about the policies I know of some various escorts.

Male: no records. Doesn't save numbers, doesn't make advance appointments.

Trans: Saves numbers with a system. If a person flakes or seems like a time waster they put their name in with a 1. Each time the person calls and wastes their time they up the number...2, 3, etc. At some point, usually around 3...the name is changed to DNA (do not answer). Similarly, she uses some kind of positive rating system as well...but not as advanced.

Trans: documents everything: sessions, phone calls, etc. Is able to, and is known to regularly, repeat back to clients dates and times of when they stood her up or last asked the same questions in a phone conversation.

I find that the keeping of records generally indicates the escorts documentation of their income. So, likewise, that varies greatly as well. I'm lead to believe that most don't know how much money they actually make.

Most of the escorts I have hired are well educated and well aware of their finances, their clients needs and the world around them. They are very successful in their ventures away from escorting.

KMEM if you are hiring ones that don't know how much they spend, I think you are probably hiring the wrong guys.

PK-

Generally I think a lot of people don't live within their means. This includes Uncle Sam.

Some might be doing better these days according to various reports. For the first time in a long time Americans seems to actually be saving a few bucks. Bad for the economy, good for them.

It would be interesting to know how many escorts reviewed on this site pay whatever taxes they owe, have an investment plan, have a savings plan, have 6 months living expenses in cash and all the other "recommended" things one should do for a personal budget.

Best regards,

KMEM

I keep a crude record of my appointments and expenses. But do delete any record of any client that asks.

For better or worse I do not keep backups of the details (only the monetary totals) and it is secure on a computer that nobody else ever uses. These records are not just for budgetary, and tax reasons but primarily for STD notification should I test positive for anything.

It is very important in the fight against the spread of disease to be able to contact ones sex partners so they may get tested or treated. I consider anything less unresponsible. Many STDs such as syhpylis and gonnorhea are easily cured and almost harmless when treated early enough. However if one waits too long then these diseases can result in horrible health consequences and even death. Also with these and other STDs the chance of reinfection is great so it is not just a matter of ethics but self-preservation.

When one tells a sex partner that one has tested positive it doesn't have to matter who might have give it to whom. Most of us escorts do get tested regularly and we are likely to detect something early on. While clients SHOULD get tested regularly I expect that many get tested less frequently (and sometimes not at all) and therefore in the event that an escort catches something from the client then it might be very important that the client seeks treatment as it may be more likely he has been harboring the STD long enough for it to become dangerous.

Also notification has the benefit of helping to remove the stigma from STDs which will hopefully foster increase notification, treatment and education.

I had a massage from a guy in NYC who advertises under the 'sensual' category. The massage was memorable, but not exciting enough for a repeat visit. Regardless, I got on this guy's email distribution list - thankfully always sent out as BCC.

One day though, he accidentally attached an Excel spreadsheet to his monthly promotional email to his clients. To my amazement, this spreadsheet listed:

- dates and times of appointments during the last 2 years

- names of all clients

- phone numbers of all clients

- emails of all clients

- amounts paid for the massages

- tips paid for the massages

- a personal note describing each client.

These personal notes were quite interesting. "Fat priest", "psycho - avoid", "European guy", "married drunk" etc etc.

Needless to say, I asked to be removed from his distribution list and never contacted this masseur again. Shows you how risky it can be to provide too much personal information - you never know where it ends up ...

I don't see how any professional Escort could function without keeping at least some kind of records. It might not be detailed like some listed above, but it would need to make sense to the Escort so-as to keep from making serious mistakes in contacting clients, etc.

It's not unlike the Farley File System that politicians and other people of note (i.e., people who meet hundreds to thousands of other people and whose business is people/personality-oriented) have to develop to keep their acquaintances "straight." I have such a system in my own profession because I meet so many different people. Interestingly enough, I even "file" people I know well and consider friends ... if only as a matter of course and "to not break with procedure." Each date of every meeting and what happened at that meeting is listed in all but those few cases were I meet with them every day, etc. I'm sure most escorts who are professionals and are in "the business" for any appreciable length of time (years) and who have had from many dozens to hundreds of different clients, must keep some kind of "Farley File" on at least their regular clients. I would almost be disappointed if I found out that they didn't (and amazed that they keep their information about me from getting mixed up either other clients!)

I've seen many escorts over the last 5 or so years (since I began seeing escorts). Due to my travel patterns I see some on a regular basis, and others less regularly. Those I see less regularly don't seem to have any difficulty remembering details about me that would be hard to remember between "dates" without a "memory-tickler" of some kind. That tells me enough to know that they keep at least some kind of records about me. And I think that's a good thing. Would I necessarily want to read their evaluations of me? Probably not. And I trust that such records are not accessible to just anybody and that those records are eventually destroyed.
