  1. Had to restore my Surface Pro to factory settings. Had to reinstall my MSOffice and AVG programs but my documents remained intact. The problem is that all screens (including this one) are black. That includes the the sing on screens and the background for all my MSOffice documents. How can I fix this. Thnx.
  2. So in episode 1 (which I just finished) Truman Capote, towel clad, swishes drunkenly down the stairs into a steam room. And who should he espy? The only other towel clad occupant: Russell Tovey [SWOON}. R rated amusement follows. I may actually have to watch this thing.
  3. The 4th and final season just ended and I'll miss Eric and Otis and Maeve and their wide range of friends trying to cope with growing up. No sensitive subject was spared including homosexualty. And the situation were often hilarious.
  4. Jesse Santana (my walking viagra)
  5. Partner and I plan an extended stay in Southeast Asia (more than just Thailand). I'm on a Medicare Advantage Plan. Partner is not. We normally get travel policies from Allianz thru the airline website. The coverage is limited and last year I ended up paying the US equivalent of $10,000 for excellent care in a Malaysian hospital (toxic reaction to a medication caused kidney shutdown). I'd like to find a way to limit that expense this year. Thanx
  6. Same problem here (alas)
  7. But her voice.. To me like scrapping fingernails on a blackboard.
  8. It's not who you know but what you know , , , ,
  9. The only reservation I have is the unease I feel watching the beautiful aerial shots of Kiev knowing what's going on currently. But thru episode 6 at least it's very very funny.
  10. Sure hasn't stunted his growth!
  11. If he didn't get the message, I sure did!!!
  12. My opera fans in NYC report that the performance (other than that of Eric Owens who's one of my favorites) are spectacular. I attended many Don Carlos at the Met in my NYC years and it really does put the Grand in Grand opera. The production complete with the Borzois in the Fontainebleau scene was spectacular. But I've also very much enjoyed the French Don Carlos version in recordings. My friends found the sets and costumes in this new production to be dark and dull. I can't figure out why they didn't use the great old production of the original French version of Don Carlos. Next year we get a dark and dull version of this great opera. Alas , , , I'm going to the Live in HD broadcast on the 26th.
  13. Agreed as always @purplekow. But Carlos Cuevas has the abundant musculature of my ideal twink. Besides he has that steady sexy smoldering look that says “I’m aroused! I’m very aroused and you’re the only one who can fulfill my fantasy!” Can you tell I’m in LUST?
  14. Right you are as always @purplekow. She’s Maria Pujalte. Thank you IMDB.
  15. Spoiler alert. There’s a very brief scene in the last episode (8) that could have (should have) been directed by William Higgins.
  16. Well @Cooper, @BSR and @Cash4Trash there's a new Merli series on Netflix, Merli. Sapere Aude. It's not a season 2. Rather it's a sequel. Merli has died and his son Bruno is living with his actress grandmother and in university where he has fallen for Pol, probably Merli's favorite high school student. Like the first series, there's a smidgen of philosophy (briefly, comically and eccentrically presented) and a good portion of naked eye candy. There's a number of new students with new "issues" including an American from Montana (?) who's few English lines sound like she was coached in English by Desi Arnez. The professors also have issues. As before, Netflix is listing only 8 of the 16 episodes IMDB shows were issued. We're avoiding bingeing. We don't want the pleasure to end. BTW ToyBoy 2 is also back on Netflix.
  17. You ain’t the Lone Ranger @easygoingpal. [SWOON]
