keefer Posted August 27 Posted August 27 There is a content creator on various platforms I came across years ago. She posts infrequently, but when she does it's quite deep... one of her most loved characters is that of the brash receptionist in heaven... warning -- this might trigger tears -- but its exceptionally sweet, and a wonderful tribute to Dolly Parton... https://www.instagram.com/reels/Dcg8MmippTC/ + azdr0710, Smokey and + sync 3
BSR Posted August 28 Posted August 28 The current Tennessee governor is moving to rename Nashville International Airport for Dolly Parton. The airport authority’s current naming policy requires an honoree to have been deceased for at least 2 years and to have made a significant contribution to aviation in general or the airport specifically, but supporters are hoping that Dolly’s legendary popularity will overcome those potential glitches. What a fitting honor for the country music legend. marylander1940 and mtaabq 2

+ BOZO T CLOWN Posted September 1 Posted September 1 There are only a handful of celebrities who are so beloved that the mere mention of their names bring an instantaneous smile to our faces. Dolly Parton, Pee-Wee Herman, and Bozo are three that come to mind. Sadly, neither Dolly nor Pee Wee ever visited Bozo under the Big Top (although Pee-Wee starred in the cult classic Big Top Pee-Wee). But Dolly did visit Pee-Wee's Playhouse where Pee-Wee reluctantly revealed his crush on Dolly. As one would expect with Dolly Parton and Pee-Wee Herman, it was five minutes of pure camp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdfDdYEeL8c BTC 🤡
