The dilemma works both ways. There are men who would like to have sex with hot men and have the means to pay, but phycholigically can't accept paying for sex.

I get that. It was a hurdle for me because I thought "Am I that ugly now ...?" But now I don't worry about it, and it's such a timesaver.

You have to get hard and stay hard for that. A lot of our clients are not inspiring for that.

Just trying to clarify your last sentence.  Are you saying that escorts who can get and stay hard for clients you deem "not inspiring" are "pathological sex addicts?"

People enter sex work for mostly desperation/financial reasons. if a person has means to earn money without it, they won't do it. Yes, some do get into it since they like sex, but this is a minority. 

It's more common amongst LGBT people, partly due to marginalisation and an more open/prevalent sex culture than cis straight people. A young guy who is good-looking and has a big dick might hook up a lot, have friends into sex work and tag along, or they get paid during casual encounters and think it's a good way to do make money.  This setting is far less common amongst straight guys of the same description. 

And just because one is LGBT, doesn't mean they are or should be sex positive or have a favourable attitude to sex work.
