Bozo has met both of them - many, many years ago. Nice guys, both gay, and both are/were COM contributors. Also, both are MAJOR age shavers. Their claims to be in their mid-30's are truly comical. They are both approaching 50. But hey, if there's a market out there for that..... the more power to them! BTC 🤡 Edited Monday at 05:35 PM by BOZO T CLOWN Justsomedude05 and pubic_assistance 1 1
BaronArtz Posted Monday at 03:28 PM Posted Monday at 03:28 PM (edited) I am very grateful to the various people who saved the forum and kept it going! Not only do I find it highly entertaining, it has helped me find exciting new providers and avoid disappointments! Thank you for all you do. Is there an intent to possibly bring back the reviews? Or to create a new review site? Edited Monday at 03:33 PM by BaronArtz pubic_assistance, Rayphactor, + BOZO T CLOWN and 5 others 4 1 3

I could have sworn that when the site came back online as Company of Men and the old review site was archived that everything that was on the review area of the old site was there. I just checked and it's either now missing a lot of stuff or just isn't functioning properly, at least for me. When I look for reviews in my area, I see a small number of reviews and then it cuts off. I can tell there's another listing, but there's no scroll bar allowing me to look at more of the list. If the site is functioning properly for you, maybe your reviews are just among those that were lost when Daddy's Reviews and, previously, HooBoy's site were live. I don't recall the details, but I do remember that there was at least one instance of data being lost with no backup available.

+ azdr0710 Posted Monday at 06:50 PM Posted Monday at 06:50 PM long, long history behind the "DaddysReviews"....... I'm no expert, but for those new or curious: the near-daily posting of reviews submitted by forum members who had met with providers goes way back to early "Hooboy" days (about 1999-2000).....Hooboy was the founder of the discussion forum (and review page) which is now called COM.......he evidently constantly traveled the world, often losing his laptop, and was obsessed with getting the daily reviews posted on time....... Hooboy suddenly died about 2006 (?) and, after estate squabbles and dispute between his then-assistants, "Daddy" emerged as the sole operator of the old Hooboy forum and reviews.......Daddy also was very dedicated to getting the daily reviews, now under the domain name daddysreviews dot com, out on time and greatly allowed the providers to have the last word in the event of a dispute.......all thru the late 2000s and 2010s, the near-daily reviews (usually about five or so each day) were a much-anticipated read for many forum members, if only for entertainment value and occasional juicy negative reviews with related occasional response from a provider......both well-known providers and new ones were included.....Daddy was pretty strict with vetting the entire process and occasionally bemoaned the time it took.....fake reviewers and crooked providers were publicly shamed by Daddy when appropriate.......some reviewers loved to practice their flowery romance-novel writing skills and others were to-the-point and very professional.......it was easy to submit reviews of a provider-client meeting and it was all very fun and entertaining..... Daddy died in 2021 and there was much angst among forum members about how the forum, always very friendly and "community", and reviews would continue....Daddy held very tight control over the entire operation and nobody knew his passwords, etc......the daily reviews, of course, ceased and the forum was eventually rescued by hard-working @RadioRob, who came out of nowhere suddenly one day and announced, "I have this"......after much exchanging of email addresses and phone numbers by members who feared the worst, a collective "whew!!" was heard across the forum...... but the daily reviews are a labor-intensive endeavor........hours of work and I assume that's why they haven't been resurrected.......plus liability, disputes, what-have-you are not inviting concerns to face......setting up a new and clean review-submission process would be a colossal chore even if daily updating was eliminated.......a new review site has been discussed by forum operators, but I certainly understand its delay........ + BOZO T CLOWN, Cretus, + robear and 5 others 7 1

Tandy Newton Posted Monday at 08:42 PM Posted Monday at 08:42 PM One of the guy's I regret never meeting but always thought would be around was Avi Dar. Really a missed opportunity! Surprising a lot of these providers were charging high rates as far back as 2015 for their time. But I think the difference was cost living wasn't so high, so your disposable income could stretch more for some fun.

There may never be a next time. Covid is a great example. I had so many providers on my "to do" list and most of them never came back. Tandy Newton 1
Cretus Posted Monday at 08:54 PM Posted Monday at 08:54 PM (edited) I personally favor the current "411 on (name) in (city)" system we have now. It is accessible (with some searching of course). Also, post wording as well as account novelty helps make it obvious who is a secret provider trying to manipulate their public record or not. COVID was a serious disruption to the industry, but I think the other that's killing it is OF. There are providers I use to see show up in my city such as Ali Rush are now content creators exclusively. Even the ones that still have accounts, they seem to only have RM accounts to promote their OF page and X accounts. There are a few I'm planning to meet in the near future, one I was excited to see looks like their account has gone dormant.

Then they found they can make easy money just doing online shows and don't need to do in person meets anymore.

That would mean someone who have to go through and manually edit hundreds of threads one at a time. Both in the deli and massage section. It's really just easier if you see a provider you're interested in just search for them on here to find if there's a thread. Edited yesterday at 12:31 AM by BuffaloKyle

TJMS Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM Posted yesterday at 01:50 AM I typically post the name of the provider and City on the 411 so members of this forum can choose to look or not. If they travel, I say that. If you're in Tampa, you may not be interested in a provider in Seattle.

In the end, it is a decision that only the forum owners and operators can take. I'm not sure I agree with you. When the Review Site was around, assuming the reviewer was honest, then we had information about a specific provider. Nowadays we have a lot of 411's on here. But it seems to me-and maybe I'm wrong- that over 1/2 the time no one has seen the guy. And if it's not at least 1/2, then it still seems to me to be a significant proportion of the 411's --no one has ever met the guy in question. There are just a lot of us giving our personal opinions about the ad. As I'm not hiring these days-I'm as guilty as many of us. I'd say Mea Culpa. But it does keep me involved in the community here.
