Looking to hire my first masseur and need guidance

I am very new here and very glad to find this forum. I am looking to hire my first masseur and would appreciate some general guidance/tips.

I have been going through the posts and are still unsure about something. I am mostly looking for a good massage and a happy ending by hand would be a nice add-on, but not necessarily a must. I am not hoping for anything beyond at this point.

I understand my best best would to find someone offering sensual massage on their ad. I think the going rate is about $180/60 minutes. Correct me if I am off here? Is a tip typically expected on top of the hourly rate, if so, how much or what percentage should it be? 

Anything suggestions and tips are greatly appreciated. I see some posts that mention the providers may be selective in the clients they work with as well. Does it mean I should expect to send my age/photos/info to the masseur too, or is it more for the escort, but not so much for a masseur? Thank you!!

I recommend finding a masseur that appeals to you on one of the sites and then doing a search here to see reviews from others.

Generally speaking, experiences with sensual masseurs can sometimes vary by client or even by day. 
having said that, if they are reviewed highly here, your chances are much higher to enjoy your time. 
 

the rates you quoted seem on the high end but major cities often cost more.

I agree with doing the research available on this site, which I was not aware of the first time I visited someone. That being said, I would encourage you not to place perfect-10 expectations on your experience. Choose someone that seems like your type/preference, and just go enjoy whatever happens. Unless you think this is going to be the one and only time you ever see someone, you might be putting too much pressure on having that once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Sounds good and I will do just that. Regarding the rate of $180, that is what I see posted on some ads. Would you say the going rate is lower, maybe $160? I do not think I have seen anything lower yet, but again, I have not seen many either. A lot of them seem not to publish their rates, but instead, I need to inquire individually.

If that’s the rate for your city, and it fits your budget AND he’s reviewed highly on here, go for it. 
Go get naked on that massage table and enjoy the time. See what happens. Do it!

Avoid those who want pics. Those guys are more likely doing the job as part of their sex life. It’ll probably be about them. The masseur might want some basic info such as what you want out of it and any health issues but should need nothing else. All I ask for when clients book is a first name. 

Find someone who you feel comfortable with. Look for signs of a professional approach: a website, decent pics, a timely response to your enquiry, good reviews, experience…all those things are signs he takes the work seriously. Be clear with him about what you want, but avoid being too prescriptive- let him guide you. Go for someone who offers sensual or erotic massage if you want it to be intimate and communicate clearly about what you’d like because people have different understandings about this kind of massage. As for tipping, I’m in the UK so the expectation here differs, most of my clients don’t tip because it’s just not done here. I understand it’s different in the US.

You should let him know your expectations up front or you may otherwise be disappointed. If he advertises sensual or erotic massage, it should be on his menu and he won’t be surprised. A happy ending is a typical end to a sensual massage. Most masseurs provide a range of types of massage and/or services and, believe it or not, some clients don’t want them going anywhere near their junk.

If you book a masseur that does sensual then he’ll know. In the US I understand you’ve got to be careful about asking for (and giving) sexual services so it will be implied. Probably nothing will be put in writing but when you meet him you can ask. Guys who want to make it sound less blunt sometimes ask me about ‘a release’ or the massage ‘reaching a climax’. Don’t worry, pick the right kind of masseur and he will know.

Most masseurs will not ask for photos, pics, or stats. I cant speak for others, but I don't expect gratuities, but Im grateful when I get them – which is most of the time.
