See above comment about colonialism. But I’ve never denied that the majority of people find conventionally attractive people attractive. That’s literally why it’s a convention. it’s you who cannot admit that such conventions are largely manufactured by systemic oppression and marketing.

You don't make a lot of sense here. On one hand say that people find Chase's type to be attractive. Then you bring up overly thin A List actresses but say that straight men don't actually find them attractive. 
 

So in one case you are saying that people find Chase's type attractive. But in the case of A List Actresses, they pursue an ideal of beauty that many don't find attractive.

Y'all take male beauty standards away too seriously. Honestly, a guys personality/intelligence is the most attractive thing about them. I think the origin of the name Angles was the region where they came from - the Angeln Peninsula (German: Angeln, Danish: Angel) in southern Denmark/northern Germany.  There are other theories of the derivation of the word, but none of them relate the Latin word angel, angelus.
