  1. Governments that just print money recklessly can easily destroy their currencies, as in Germany after WW I and Argentina this century. The resulting inflation is corrosive and can plunder the value of any retirement benefit. The United States typically has not gone that route and, as I noted above, has the luxury of being able to sell government bonds (in great part to foreign governments and people) because the dollar for the time being is the world's reserve currency. So solvency is an issue unless the US government embarks on such a fiscal policy (although some would argue it already has started down that road).
  2. Since US life expectancy is just under 80 and doesn't seem to be in any danger of going much higher, I doubt that the full retirement age will be set anywhere near that. I suppose it could increase by a year or two but that would presumably be done gradually as the last increase was. Also, what seems more likely than complete collapse is that Social Security benefits could be reduced or grow less quickly and that Medicare could become more expensive. Medicare costs are already higher for people with higher incomes and it has been suggested that Social Security benefits should be means-tested as well. Whatever happens, Social Security was never intended to, and never has, fully funded retirement. Having said that, any change at all in these benefits is a third rail in US politics. So the whole can could just be kicked down the road again while the US sells more T-bills for as long as it can find willing buyers.
  3. Absolutely. Some escorts advertise themselves as happy to work with beginners. I would just be very specific in describing what you want. If you get any sense that the provider isn't interested or excited, just move on. There are plenty who would be happy to give you the practice you need.
  4. I don't think it would be strange although you might want to find somebody who lists role play as something they do and even better has been reviewed favorably for it. The down side is that the person might end up not being great at it. Give as specific instructions as possible to get the experience you want.
  5. From what I can tell on the internet, that seems to be a fairly minimal risk, if one at all.
  6. Then he'll never have to depend on the kindness of strangers!
  7. I didn't realize each borough had their own DA. Wonder what the policies are in the other boroughs.
  8. I had a long session with him earlier this month. Communication was fine (easier by text than on the app, which seems to be the way it is for most providers). He was late but warned me well in advance. He wanted to go to the gym, shower and prep, all of which seemed like a good idea to me. He has a certain confidence which I found charming and was also eager to do what I wanted him to do including being a good sport about an odd role-playing exercise I had concocted. In person, he is handsome and well-built. I think he does smoke tobacco but he didn't smell like it nor could I taste it when we were kissing. Nothing indicated he was on any other kind of drug, as someone above implied. The fact that he was older than his stated age meant we could have a nice grown-up conversation about our lives while we shared a bottle of wine from the minibar. Just writing this makes me want to text him to meet up again.
  9. He hasn't been online for two months.
  10. Your life sounds like a Tennessee Williams play. Perhaps without the histrionics.

Well both reviews are from people have been the platform for awhile.
  12. I think he does the porn. https://www.boyfriendtv.com/pornstars/andres-milan-11354/
  13. Based on my results: 1. Lots of providers must not provide rate information so don't show up. 2. Same provider may show up in search for $100-$400 as in search for $500-$1000, maybe the search covers all rates including overnight rate.
  14. So I am inferring from this that the provider has the option to indicate rates but that that information is not shown in their profile for US based providers but if they are within a searched range they will show up.
  15. I'm not confusing anything, and, by the way, this isn't a hobby. Stamp collecting is a hobby. Sex work is a complicated, frequently illegal process by which money is exchanged for companionship and/or sex. It can be dangerous and exploitative and, depending on how it transpires, can pose all kinds of moral ambiguity.
  16. Thanks for the clarification. I have to admit I was a bit confused because you had earlier advised OP to "[g]o to Belgium. Netherlands. Germany. Etc," presumably to avoid the restrictions or uncertainty of US law.
  17. Now I get it.
  18. Solicitation of a minor in California can be a felony or a misdemeanor depending on the circumstances. Not just the standard misdemeanor which is the case for hiring an adult. While it is true that belief that a person is 18 or over may be a defense for solicitation of a minor, the burden would be on the defendant to demonstrate this to a jury.
  19. I guess I'm not sure that is true or that a norm has been established. It is true that many people simply say that is more than I can pay and terminate the discussion. But there are people who actually actively negotiate and also people like OP who say that is beyond my budget, I usually pay x amount. In many instances, the provider continues the conversation because they want the work, even if they are unhappy. I don't think it is "insulting" to suggest a lower amount; discussion of pricing is a subject for negotiation for most services including this one. But what I think is most troubling to OP, and I agree, is that the focus of this discussion seems to be blaming OP at least in part and attempting to "educate" him about the proper way to have the pricing discussion, instead of on the behavior of the provider. [This is coming from someone who has not negotiated price except for one time when I said that is more than I expected, after which the provider tried to negotiate, which I did a bit until I realized the discussion made it too icky to move forward.]
  20. Is there a way to block a thread (as opposed to individuals)?
  21. You should read his RM interview. Let's you know him more fully. "Name 5 things that you can’t live without. Food,Water,,Air,Sleep,Health,Mother,"
  22. Two new antibiotics to treat resistant gonorrhea is a good thing. Nuzolvence was developed by a public-private partnership, which is also a good thing. Blujepa was developed initially as a UTI drug by GSK (formerly GlaxoSmithKline), which is about as big pharma as you can get.
  23. The FDA recently approved two new oral treatments for gonorrhea: Nuzolvence (zoliflodacin) and Blujepa (gepotidacin). I think they specifically address the resistant strains.
  24. First time DUI is a misdemeanor in most states absent special circumstances such as causing injury, children in the car, very high blood alcohol or driving on suspended license/without license.
  25. Ridiculous. He's been on the platform for two days and has no reviews. Perhaps the 50% deposit is security that he will have your money and need not provide any service. On the other hand, he is "a deeply fetishistio man who loves exploring every desire." So there's that.
