Brent Corrigan had "Massive Seizure" in 2023

Can't believe no one has posted this yet! The reason for Brent Corrigan's social media disappearance for the last couple years was due to a massive seizure he suffered in 2023. Doctors weren't even able to detect brain activity at a point and he had to relearn to walk and eat. I'm glad he is doing well.

So many times, while thinking about my troubles, I hear/read the experiences of others, similar or worse than the one experienced by Mr. Lockhart, and suddenly I'm on easy street.

Wow, I had no idea.  The good news is that it sounds like he’s recovered 100%, a helluva feat considering he literally came back from death.  It also sounds like he has an interesting take on life.  Coming back from the dead, relearning how to walk and eat … gotta change a person.  All the best to him.

Poor guy.  I do wonder what the full story is, though, since in another post he wrote that he has been diagnosed with ALS which actually makes his symptoms make more sense.  Unless one hits one's head during a seizure, loss of motor functions and muscle control is typically very short term.  If he does have ALS, hopefully he'll outlive the norm for people with that illness, which typically causes death within 5 years of diagnosis.

On Halloween he posted a picture of himself  on X/Twitter that I had to look at for a few minutes to figure out if it was even him. He’s 39 years old now - but that was not why I didn’t recognize him - it’s just that in the picture he posted, he seemed so different-looking from all of the various looks he has had over the past two decades. It seems like he’s been through a lot, so more power to him.

I agree with you. Not sure but he has more of a round face in that photo compared to his modeling days. Very happy he is alive and he does seem happier from the photos. I wish him well.

He was always one of my favs, particularly gorgeous in his twink years. He could have made a fortune in those days on RM! I am glad he has recovered!

He could have made a fortune in Rentboy, and later in RM... unfortunately he never tried rarely escorted and for an exorbitant amount of money.

There was a thread about "Brent's 4th priorities" where he talked about porno, filming mainstream movies and other things while escorting was his 4th and last priority.

I Googled to see who Paul Thomas Anderson based Boogie Nights on. He based it on John Holmes, which makes sense.

The weight gain/face shape change is likely a side effect of the anti-seizure meds he’s on (which he’ll need to take for the rest of his life) so it would be particularly difficult for him to get back in shape.

Ha. I thought everyone knew that.  John Holmes was the original Porn Star. 

If you want more gritty real life I'd recommend Wonderland with Val Kilmer though.
