MikeBiDude Posted October 13 Posted October 13 Finished “Boots” tonight…really enjoyed it. thomas and spidir 1 1
Rod Hagen Posted October 13 Posted October 13 (edited) Three eps into it. It's fun. I keep repeating,"Thank God I never joined the military," but a close friend of mine had a very good time in the army in the '80s. Constant fucking is how he describes it. While watching, I keep remembering the old joke, "How can you tell when you're in bed with a Masculine Marine? He holds up his own legs when you fuck him." samhexum Posted October 14 Posted October 14 Miles was cute on Parenthood as Lauren Graham's son. thomas 1
+ purplekow Posted October 16 Posted October 16 I enjoyed it tremendously. Sad and uplifting and hopefully the military does not go back to the rules that ruined the lives of so many. MikeBiDude, thomas, Rod Hagen and 1 other 4
TonyDown Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Watched Boots this weekend. Thumbs up! Sgt Sullivan is a great character. Rod Hagen, thomas and spidir 2 1

+ purplekow Posted October 20 Posted October 20 Lots of nice ass shots in the shower. I also liked the man he served with prior to coming to be a DI. Beautiful hairy chest and a great ass. spidir and thomas 2

All the guys are good-looking in this show, even the bigger guy and the other two drill instructors: it’s just everybody has to shave their face and head. The casting director definitely knew what they were doing. Max Parker (Sullivan) is certainly my favorite, but I’m having a crush on Miles Heizer (Cope) too: I’m a bottom, and was never into twinks, but Miles makes want to top, lol. Rod Hagen Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) Got distracted by some other shows (The Diplomat and Slow Horses) but finished Boots last night. Liked it a lot. The arc of the story for Sullivan, the muscular Drill Sergeant, seems odd, but if it's from the book then I guess that's the only way to tell it. The show was a generous goodbye-gift from Normal Lear. Edited October 30 by Rod Hagen thomas, + EVdude, + azdr0710 and 1 other 4

I don't buy him impulsively, drunkenly, putting someone in a coma just to avoid being investigated further, something he knew he had his superior's support over and also something he seemed no longer entirely shy about facing, hence him aggressively removing his shirt in front of the investigator with zero resistance. It doesn't track for me, but again maybe it makes more sense in the book.
+ MikeThomas Posted yesterday at 02:32 AM Posted yesterday at 02:32 AM That part of the story was very strong to me. MikeBiDude 1
