Luv2play Posted September 26, 2025 Posted September 26, 2025 Another recipe which I use from time to time is canned salmon mixed with cream of mushroom soup heated and poured over toast. Can add peas if desired. + sync and MikeBiDude 2

jeezifonly Posted October 3, 2025 Posted October 3, 2025 I use it in a cold pasta. Torn spinach leaves, green onion or shallots, chopped capers, diced celery for crunch, a thinned mayo/yogurt dressing and a ton of fresh chopped dill. mike carey 1

Dijon mustard would be one idea. I know that works for me when I fry mushrooms and add it with cream for a sauce for a steak or pork chop. + friendofsheila 1

sjmuktop Posted November 10, 2025 Posted November 10, 2025 Tinned salmon, as we call it here in the UK (what the Americans call a 'can', we call a 'tin'; we refer to 'tinned food' not 'canned food'), is lovely on sandwiches. I love salmon full stop. Tinned, whole, steaks, smoked. You name it. A smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich is very much a thing here, and is lovely. I believe the Yanks have their own version of this, but do it in the form of a bloody bagel instead. Criminal! 😂
