Very interesting. I never realised there were so many content producers…4.6million! Wow. I’m in the top 10% of that and I’m by no means a big model on it. There must be millions who have signed up as a model but only published one or two films. The top models on there are making $$$, but the rest make very little indeed.

Love the use of the “model” in the context of OF (and JFF).  Never understood why you aren’t just called “performers.”  Must have something to do with professional actors’ unions….

Yes it is kind of incongruous. I think it’s because the sites themselves use the term. I don’t consider myself a ‘model’ - that to me is someone who models clothes and honestly I’m not wearing any in most of my films! If I start in clothes they soon come off. I think ‘performer’ is more apt because it’s a performance.

Because neither the thread title nor initial post reveal what information is in the link provided, I'll try to summarize it very generally for those who don't want to click the link just to see what it's about:

The article discusses Only Fans owner's payment to himself as well as other numbers related to the site (number of content creators and user accounts, net profits) as well as a brief summary of Only Fans' ownership and what the current owner does in addition to owning Only Fans.

In short, nothing particularly interesting unless you're curious about those things.  I'm not sure what I expected to read there when I clicked the link, but somehow I thought maybe it would be a bit more interesting.
