"Serious inquiries only"

In all activities there are time wasters, it's part of dealing with people!

Isn't this just a mild annoyance rather than an actual red flag? I feel like half the stuff in this thread are mild annoyances at best and not actual signs of a scammer or bad bedroom experience.

To me at least that kind of wording sounds a bit prima donna and is usually surrounded by similar style attitude towards others.

Hopefully those providers won't spend 2 years in Seeking Arrangement Success wasting time.

Some folks have so much time to go after escorts with a velvet line, are they accustomed to rejection. Maybe?

I feel like it's fairly valid considering so many of the messages they get don't go anywhere or are just people wanting to see their pics or sext basically. I'd be more with you on the "prima donna" vibe thing when it's like them saying how VIP/High Class/Expensive/Premium/etc they are like another comment up thread said. Even then though, prima donna vibe is an annoyance, i don't feel it's a real direct indicator they're bad at what they do or are "avoid at all costs". To me "serious inquiries only" is just them listing their own red flags they have for us clients (usually from experience). They're simply requesting efficiency and follow through in the booking process.

A real red flag for this would be like mentioned up thread like the provider taking hours/days to respond to texts or constantly shifting an agreed upon meet around when trying to schedule or negotiate with them. That indicates poor time management skill on their part which also would imply to me they might be late or even miss a scheduled meet if they're constantly moving meets around or over booking themself. Which then would also imply maybe you're not getting them at full energy/capability if they did show up. It's an actual performance/product quality indicator.

Or this one for example.

PNP and attitude!

Bad work ethic, laziness, etc

You've made your point, no need to keep dragging this exchange on. You can have the last word and now you're welcome to contribute about the red flags you consider legitimate.

you might consider also posting on here.

Things most of us consider a “hard-pass” to new masseurs

I’ve seen a ton of new ads and a lot of these guys still haven’t figured it out. I’ll start the list of immediate red flags 🚩 for massage therapists to hopefully take note:

1. Your massage rates start at $200…or $195…we see what you’re trying to do here…

2. You don’t have a photo of your table and setup (if offering incall)…

3. You use those medical disposable paper covers on your table instead of sheets…

4. You offer a 30-min massage…

5. You require a deposit to book…

6. If you advertise on RentMasseur, you use corny names/slogans, “9incher”, “deepdestroyer”, “latinpapi”. We instantly know you have zero massage skills…

7. Your photos are from the 1990’s and we can tell…

8. You listed your age as 35 fifteen years ago and you’re miraculously still 35 today…

9. You have a long menu of detailed different options with multiple different prices…

10. You have only body shots and no face photos…

11. All of your rates are listed as “ask” instead of the actual rate…

As I hire massage/playtime combo (pay higher rate) my no-go's are few.

•Can't host.

•No table.

•Deposit

•Sketchy Parking/Neighborhood

•PNP

•Lack of massage training and  experience. (I've been looking at RMsr/MF for years, so I have an idea how new they are)

If I search the phone number on a search engine and it results in several different ads for completely different providers or locations.

The advertiser can’t be a hunky masseur in Denver, a trans BDSM domme in Dallas, and a petite woman escort in Miami at the same time.

Agree and what may be one man’s legitimate “serious inquiry” may be seen as a waste of time by another (reinforcing your point).

I feel the opposite on several of these.

1. Rates under $200 catch my eye.  Yes, even $195.  I don't bother looking at anyone $200/hr or over for massage.

2. I never thought to look at the picture of the table setup.  I usually host and the masseur brings his table to me; or, I'll travel and have never had a problem with the massage setup by any masseur I've seen.

3.  I've never seen disposable paper bed coverings in my several hundred times hiring, so I don't worry about it.

4. 30 minute massages can be legit, especially for time-sensitive executives on a lunch break who just want half their body worked on (just shoulder, or just legs, for example.  I don't hire for less than 90 minutes (I always request 120 minutes, if possible); but, I don't begrudge masseurs for advertising 60 minute massages so why would I mind if they offer 30 minute massages!

5-8.  I agree

9. Charging extra for hot stone, facials, scrubbing, deep tissue, etc., are fine.

10. In today's age of facial recognition, I don't mind all body shots and no face shots.  I can respect his privacy and still hire him.  I'm not hiring a masseur for his face!

11. All of your rates are listed as “ask” instead of the actual rate…are fine if I can see reviews to get an idea of the range other men have paid.  I don't want to waste the masseur's time asking his rate if the amount paid by others is above my budget.
