Are those really the kinds of clients an escort wants to put up with? If the situation warrants it, I don't see a problem with an escort asking. Unfortunately so many of them! It's like when a restaurant asks to show a discount coupon while ordering... I'll keep you in mind next time this controversial issue comes up! Sometimes I am the only one defending provider's right to ask for an Uber.

I'm in NYC, and my main issue with paying for an Uber is that it will generally take longer than taking the train. It's the reason I take the train most places. So paying an extra $100-$200 (depending on the time of day) for it to take longer for a fit young man to travel to my house feels unnecessary. I'd rather he just calculate it in his fee. marylander1940, AtticusBK, + ApexNomad and 1 other 1 3

NYC is a whole different world. Based on what @DomKingNYC has said we can assume the "client" was way outside Manhattan. Edited February 18 by marylander1940 BrooklynIrish 1

I don’t know what i was thinking lol That’s quite the trek if you’re not used to venturing out of Manhattan! Somehow my gut told me the “client” lived in South Brooklyn (I do as well)… I won’t go into politics etc, but we were a “red zone” at the height of Covid, so this does not surprise me at all. At least you got to see a part of NYC you’ll probably otherwise have no reason to go to, and you’ll now be able to empathize with people like me who make that kind of commute every day! DomKingNYC 1

The Mind-Boggling Transformation of Brooklyn over the Last 8 Years The neighborhoods mentioned in that article (Williamsburg, Clinton Hill, and Downtown Brooklyn) are all closer to Manhattan than South Brooklyn (I and many others refer to these trendy, conveniently commutable areas as “Manhattklyn”). marylander1940, BrooklynIrish and AtticusBK 1 2
Thomas_Belgium Posted February 19 Posted February 19 It's sad but this seems to a classic prank. Many years ago I (before Covid) read on a site in Dutch to not knock or ring the doorbell but call them with the phone. DomKingNYC 1

I always have them answer the door because you never know if they are being truthful. DomKingNYC 1

Would a client trying to haggle me and devalue my services likely be a resounding positive experience? No. 🚫 I’ll admit my rates are higher than most but I’ve been told services are phenomenal and I invest so much into my clients like real friends. Everyone who has had no qualms about rates have been amazing and special experiences - some clients for life. ✅🔥 mike carey, + ApexNomad and DomKingNYC 3
DGHou Posted February 20 Posted February 20 On the flip side a few years ago I had been chatting with a guy on Craigslist when they had men seeking men. He was very friendly, sent pics (very cute twink, my type), etc. Gave me an address. When I pulled up outside the house the curtains were open and through the window I could see a family sitting down for dinner. I'm like wtf? Maybe he lives with his family even though he was definitely over 18. So I texted to confirm the address thinking I had it wrong. He texted that it was the correct one. When I told him I could see a family having dinner, silence. No answer to a couple more texts so I feel I was pranked, and I too drove over 45 minutes. DomKingNYC 1
