Public displays of affection (PDA), even for heterosexual couples, are strictly prohibited, and same-sex PDA is even more heavily scrutinized.

Google showed 2 cases of straight couples being arrested and jailed for PDA.  In the spirit of equality, I have to think the same applies to gay couples.  But good gawd, if you're LGBT and so foolish as to be ignorant of UAE laws, I dunno if I can summon much sympathy.

I just did a quick rent.men search on Lisbon.. Holy shit!

The Barcelona:Lisbon listing ratio for RMen is about 4:3 with a lot of choice currently while Hunqz at 3:1 is consistent with the population differences.  Lisbon and area, eg Sintra, is a great place to visit if you haven’t yet.

I wish I had explored Lisbon more thoroughly. I feel that it draws a more eclectic mix of people compared to Barcelona. I believe this may be due to the language (Spanish), as Barcelona tends to attract many immigrants from Spanish-speaking countries.

I must admit, I’m rather surprised no one has brought up Morocco. Fair-haired, pale Europeans have been indulging in certain proclivities there—willingly, I might add—since at least the Edwardian era

Though lately the cadre of people venturing down there sadly from England ( which I have witnessed )   have been less than respectable, buggering the native Arabs in parks and behind mosques like zoo animals with no shame or sense of respect for a place of worship.

It seems as though their sense of self was lost the moment they got on the easy jet / Ryanair flight from Sheffield, Birmingham or whatever sad town they may come from .

To each their own I suppose .

Nevertheless - yes Marrakesh - and yes
Yves st Laurent’s villa ( now museum ) is sublime

Morocco has been discussed in the Africa/Asia/Australian section:

I'm always interested in what cities in U.S./North America especially are best for cocksucker like me. I've been to most of them over the years, but so many of my fav venues that catered to my interests have closed down. Any new recommendations?

Is there anyone on the forum who has hired in Dubai? What was your experience?

Simple. Easy. Some of the best escorts I’ve ever hired.

I will admit I was nervous at first, but you quickly realize the entire place is a two class system with wildly different rules for different sides of the tracks.

What are the classes? Westerners vs everyone else or something else?

Like everywhere, the rich and the poor.

Yes in Dubai, the rich tend to be Western, but it’s not really “being Western" that’s the defining element. It’s money. The rules don’t apply to the rich Emirati either. If fact, they apply even less so to them.

As a “gay" destination, I don’t recommend it. As a place to hire male escorts, the pond is amazingly well stocked. Just be respectful, keep it in your hotel room, and no one will care.

How do you keep things discreet? Do you give the escorts your room number so they just come straight up to your room? I find it's hit or miss whether or not hotels require keycards for elevators. Hilton and Novotel don't but with other brands it's hit or miss.

If you’re in a 5-star western hotel, trust me they won’t care. Although my Hotel didn’t require a card for the elevators, it did require 3 very confusing elevator transfers to reach my floor. In the end it was much easier to meet my escorts at the front door to the hotel. Each time the 5-6 doormen on duty couldn’t have been kinder in helping me locate my "friend". And yes, it was obvious what was going on, and it was also obvious that they didn’t care.

Depends on what kind of 5 star hotel. A JW Marriiot, Intercontinental or Hilton won't care ( well depends where )

However, places such as Aman, Peninsula, or similarly rarified properties tend to take a more measured approach, primarily out of consideration for the comfort and discretion of other guests, and to uphold a certain standard of decorum and security.

One of my preferred hotels in Rio, for instance, requires identification for any guest one wishes to bring upstairs. I typically raise the matter with the front desk or concierge beforehand, saying something to the effect of, “A gentleman friend will be joining me in my suite for a few hours, may I enquire as to the appropriate protocol?”

It’s all handled in the most civilised fashion, with the utmost discretion and courtesy throughout. No one judges.

If anonymity is what one seeks - I suggest an Air BnB rental, and perhaps, hire two men for the evening. Or more.

The Bible contains 6 admonishments to homosexuals, and 362 to heterosexuals. That doesn’t mean that God doesn’t love straight people, just that they need more supervision.
