I contacted him when his ad first appeared in Baltimore in September. When he asked for a picture of my driver's license to verify I was "real" I decided not to pursue. I might try again and see if it's still a requirement since he's been at this a few months now.

Took for the team. I am on my layover in Bmore, and after two attempts scheduling, it worked. He is awesome, name is Mike. 10 stars out of 10. Tall and big, but a real sweet Teddy Bear!

He did not ask for my drivers license or anything like that.

Thanks for letting us know he has stopped asking for ID. My guess is he found out the hard way that it was a barrier to acquiring business. While I would never provide a copy of my license, a provider who asked someone else for theirs would not deter me from contacting him. If he pulled the license bit, I'd walk. That being said, when a provider asked me for a copy of my ID, I said "sure, after you provide me with a copy of the front and back of yours." Don't ask me why I did this, as my response would ordinarily have been to end things right there. Guess my inner smartass was on display.

I may be wrong-but for some reason -could be movies or novels-I get the idea that women escorts from agencies ask for state-issued picture IDs.

My well-informed sources tell me that this is rare. There are several online services that offer a variety of options to confirm ID for the safety of the client but usually don’t require photo IDs - just a registration process. Like RM and here, most have no identification requirements.

Looks like RM does require id for gifts.  Just sent one in for a provider and then was asked to upload my ID, etc.
