+ Lucky Posted November 2 Posted November 2 My friend last posted on October 14th, 2014, so ten years now. Jackhammer91406 started a thread called Friday Funnies, later saying: I started this thread 4 years ago after I was diagnosed with Leukemia. I really felt like I wanted to concentrate on things that made me laugh and feel good. I never dreamed the thread would go on this long or have nearly 40,000 views. *** Well, now it's got a lot more views and does indeed serve as a memorial to one of our finest members. RIP indeed. + jrhoutex, + sf westcoaster, thomas and 11 others 10 1 2 1

Jackhammer was a wonderful and rather amiable individual. ...met him on one of my trips to Rio de Janeiro. When I returned to the States and en route to my lodging while spending some time with relatives in the San Diego area, I stopped by his place and spent some time reflecting on our time in our favorite city and other topics. He's been missed but remembered. thomas and + Charlie 2

+ Charlie Posted November 26 Posted November 26 (edited) The last time I had dinner with him, he showed me a photo he had taken of the burial site he had bought for himself. He said he wanted to be sure he would always have a view of Dodger Stadium. (He was a big Dodgers' fan.) Edited November 26 by Charlie + Lucky, MikeBiDude, samhexum and 1 other 2 1 1
