While robots are great they are still limited in what they can do based on the programming.  They need to be able to anticipate the person they are with and be able to empathize which a robot will really never have full capabilities of doing.  When I go and see someone who has hired me not only are they paying for my time but they want me to focus on them and be able to understand them.  Also a robot doesn't have the same sense of feel that a human does.  When it comes to sexual activity the person who has hired me wants to also know how I'm feeling.  With a robot this is limited again based on programming.  While these might be great for some people I don't think this will kill the escort industry.

Robots are great for tasks, for automation, for repetition, and even some adaptive learning. Genuine emotional interplay, empathy, embracing “flaws”, soul-to-soul connection…these are the few things a robot can never replace or do better than people.

I've been dabbling with AI bots a lot and they can really create a very hot erotic roleplay... What it doesn't do is fill that need for deep genuine human connection. I've also done interactive VR porn and it honestly just leaves me feeling empty. 

There will be a market for this for sure, but I'd be surprised if it would ever completely replace the human providers.
