RM not accepting Visa anymore!? What the actual f$ck?

When I saw the "They take Visa again" post, I tried with my Visa number.  It was accepted and my Visa card was debited.  BUT -- the transaction has not shown up in my Billing History on the Rentmasseur website, and my profile is still at BASIC level.  This has been the case for two days now.

Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY used their Visa card to get premium access, if only for month-to-month?  I sent RM an inquiry but haven't heard back.  So as of now I'm out 9.95 USD with nothing to show for it 😐

Yes it worked for me. I remember I logged out and then back in for it to show up I believe. I also got the little notification message that I now was a premium member.

Not really interested in  getting a Mastercard.     I don't want additional credit cards,   it affects your credit!    The whole thing isn't very helpful for sure.      I'd rather provide service for membership.

One doesn't have to invest in Bitcoin to have bitcoin. PayPal and CashApp let you buy small amounts of Bitcoin (and other virtual currencies) and subsequently use it to buy merchandise and pay for services.

How did you get that option?  When I went to upgrade on Rentmen it gave three option - monthly renewal, 3 months and 6 months.  When I selected credit card it did not go to a different page.  So when I hit the button to process the payment it declined both my Visa and MC gift cards.

Yet today I was able to update my status on RentMasseur using my MC gift card.  Last year I was unable to.  So I then went out and purchased the exact same card for $100 CAD and tried to use it for RentMen this afternoon.  It was declined every time.   Same card, same value.  Two different results in the same day for two sites run by the same company.

Customer service was not very helpful.  I wish I could remember how I got to the additional screen on RentMasseur, because I cannot find it on RentMen.

You have to choose the one time payment option in the middle. Then pick however many months. Then select credit/debit card and then it'll take you to a new page where you can use your visa.

It's weird because I'm not given those options.  When I click to become a premium member, it goes to a page with two columns - one for free membership and one for premium.  Each column shows what is included with each package.  When I click premium, it goes to a new page with a section for Payment Methods (Credit Card or Crypto) and Payment Options (monthly renewal, 3-month fixed, 6-month fixed).  No matter which of the payment options I choose, it then goes to a screen with my Visa or MC gift card information and a Pay Now button.  When I hit that, a message pops up that the payment is declined.  Now because I have tried multiple times it says 'you can no longer use this card'.  I don't think I'm going to go and purchase a third $100 card to give it another try at this point.  It's become a bit ridiculous.

I gave it a shot, but when I click on the red get premium box, it goes to a screen with a box that is for payment method.  One is Credit Card, and the other is Crypto.  I choose Credit Card and a new box comes up that gives me three membership durations: Monthly renewed, 3-month, and 6-month.  I choose 3-month or 6-month and then a new box comes up with Order Preview.  That shows my card info and asks if I want an invoice (I don't) or have a promo code (I don't).  Then I hit the 'Pay Now' red button and it tells me to use a different card.  I've tried a MC gift card, a Visa gift card, and MC debit card.  Nothing works unfortunately.

Ok yes you need the middle option as shown below on my screen. It wasn't showing me the middle option the one day so try it again another day.

Thanks! That's good to know that it can change from day to day.  That is exactly the screen that allowed me to upgrade the RentMasseur membership after I had given up months earlier because it wasn't accepting payment.  I now have the resolve to get another gift card and wait patiently to use it, instead of trying multiple times on screens that don't give that option you've shown.  Thanks again!

Try clearing your browser cache or using a different browser. This may help you access the updated payment options page.

It's funny - the one time charge option came up on RMasseur and I was able to upgrade the membership, but it will not come up on Rmen.  I've tried a dozen times in the last week, but no luck with either the .eu or regular versions.

Yes.  They limited pmt options many months ago. Its the reason I didnt renew.  I think it was discussed here.  Try the search feature for more info.
