wanderlust307 Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 (edited) Ok now I've seen it all. "Don't message me if you are over 21" headline in a profile in Romeo. To clarify, user profile not escort. An 18 yo... It reminds me when I was close to this age, I've met in a park someone I liked and we chatted and chatted for hours. Until he told me the horrible truth. He was 29. And I thought omg he is so old. And I told him sorry but you are too old for me and left... Edited July 31, 2024 by wanderlust307 pubic_assistance, Becket, TorontoDrew and 3 others 1 1 4

So then why are you surprised if you used to display the same age issue? When I see a profile that states “around my age only” or “not into older” I just block that profile and move on. liubit, BonVivant, Njguy2 and 3 others 6

Actually what I find strange is the opposite. When young guys like old. They need to have their head examined. 🤣 liubit, Whippoorwill, Marc in Calif and 3 others 1 5

There are a rarity, but there is talent out there who don't age discriminate, and really those are the most well-rounded, polite guys. BonVivant Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 I respect the request not to message; unless I find them handsome/cute/hot. I’ll send them a simple text like “so handsome!” And leave it at that. MikeBiDude 1

Everyone has a type and thats just fine even if the guys it precludes are sad to be left out. Edited August 1, 2024 by pubic_assistance grammar wanderlust307 and MikeBiDude 2
liubit Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) Fortunately for me, young guys liking old daddies is very far from a rarity in Hong Kong. Just like @MikeBiDude, I have been seeing a non-paid 23 year old on a very frequent basis for over a year now and I have hooked up for free with many guys in their 20s at their request. Needless to say, I am a 60+ year old very happy camper. Edited August 1, 2024 by liubit + Lucky, DGHou, + Vegas_Millennial and 5 others 2 1 5

They like to have intelligent mature conversations, have sex with someone that knows what they are doing, has their own place, usually no drama involved and enjoy what's sure to be genuine appreciation and affection from said older guy. + Vegas_Millennial, + Kevin Eagle, MikeBiDude and 6 others 4 1 4
Whippoorwill Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 It makes sense. Young guys bring energy, wonder, openness to new things, looks, and nonstop hot sex. Older guys bring experience, knowledge, sophistication, calm, and resources. If you're open, it can work for everybody. Luv2play, MikeBiDude, + Vegas_Millennial and 2 others 1 4
maninsoma Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 My first sexual experiences were with older guys, one guy about 10 years older than me. That being said, when I was a twink I definitely was only into young looking guys. They didn't have to be as young as me, but I'm sure I found men in their thirties and older to be "too old" for me. I guess that's why it's never bothered me when young men have a hard age cut-off since I did, too. What's always puzzled me more is men around my age or older having similar age cut-offs. A guy in his forties or older who only wants guys under 25? That is foreign to me since my tastes have broadened as I've aged in terms of age and also a variety of other characteristics. (I basically was almost exclusively into the blond surfer type when I was young.)
BuffaloKyle Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I was the same @maninsoma when I was a teen first hooking up. I thought guys in their late 30's were pretty old and here I am now turning 38 in a few weeks! I can easily pass for much younger. Everyone thinks I'm more like 27 than 37. It's good genes though as my dad is 65 but people think he's 50.

maninsoma Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I wasn't referring to any forum member, but if you see yourself in my description that's on you. I was simply describing something that frustrated me when I was more actively trying to date in my forties: I'd find a guy online whose photos I liked with whom I thought I'd have a chance (i.e., the guy was "in my league," to put it bluntly, not someone in clearly better shape or much more facially attractive). They would write very nice profiles that made them sound like they were looking for compatible men based on personality first; in other words, they weren't just looking for hookups with the hottest guys. Then I'd reach the end of their ad where they'd specify that they only wanted men at least 15 years their junior (sometimes even younger than that).

DGHou Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 I am 65 and have really never had a problem hooking up with younger guys, like in their 20's. Of course hiring a younger provider is the easiest way to have fun with someone younger. That said, I have been seeing a guy for the past couple of months who turned 24 a couple of weeks ago. On our second or third date he asked how old I was and I told him the truth, even though I hesitated. He's at that age when he thinks guys my age, who are decent looking and take care of themselves, are in their late 40's. In another 10-12 years he will think someone in their mid-60's, no matter how good they look, are in their mid 70's. 😄 Anyway, I doubt it will be anything long term but we both seem to enjoy each other's company at present, so I am just going with the flow. + Vegas_Millennial, MikeBiDude and + Act25 1 2
