Exactly. In the UK/Europe they use diamonds to indicate they are Trade (i.e. available for hire). It doesn’t mean they are seeking drugs.

I haven't been to a bath house in decades but I remember crystal 💎 meth was currency there,(in NYC at least)

So many young cute guys, walked right past me and went instead with older/ less attractive men. Eventually I realized they were there to exchange sex for drugs.

Don’t get your reference to Carol Channing and Hollywood. I was merely pointing

out the type of English spoken on both sides of the Atlantic can differ and lead to some amusing misunderstandings.
