In less trivial news, I'm very excited about my upcoming Columbus Ohio trip... I'm actually driving ( just so much easier than trying to fly  with food, copious amounts of food, and lots of supplements ) PLUS I'm making a 1-2 night pitstop in St. Louis Missouri to see a very longtime friend, In fact somebody that I've been seeing probably the longest and then I'll head to Columbus. Heck, I might even make a stop in  Chicago  before dropping down into Columbus 😁 I'm in shape fellas... this progress photo was taken for my coach this morning and one week I will look drastically different...  in three weeks when I go to Southern California, I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be in the best shape that I've ever been but I'll leave that up to the "judges" ( all the people I'm so fortunate to be able to see and spend time with year after year )

Drive safely and get there and back well.   Sounds like a great trip for you and the men of the midwest.  It must be close to 1000 miles total.  

I am glad you have the good sense to avoid the posters here that come to a thread with your name as the title to state emphatically and untruthfully items that are just click bait fodder.    Knowing you for a long time and having well invested my time in getting to know you, I feel confident that in  any circumstances with those posters, you will be the bigger man physically, emotionally and intellectually.  I know the accusations made are totally false and admire your abiltiy to leave those trolls under the bridge where they so rightfully belong.  

I would encourage the moderators to check into the IP addresses of those new posters who have come to this thread to spew lies and to reveal if they have other more familiar names.  The internet is filled with faceless cowards sending insults out into the ether seemingly without consequence.  Perhaps these posters should have some consequences.

My only encounters with Vin have been poolside chats in Palm Springs over the last three years.  I can say in those conversations, he displayed a strong memory.  For example he remembered pieces of a conversation from our first five-minute conversation in April of 2021 that he had no reason to recall, such as telling him that although I have always lived in the Midwest, my folks met at a university near Palm Springs and had visited regularly to see family.  That type of recall and kindness is not AI generated.  

I don’t know enough about ChatGPT to understand how it works or whether Vin is using it for his posts.  What I can say is, “color me doubtful” that AI was used.  Based solely on my conversations with him, I have no reason to suspect they are not typed by him as the thoughts come to mind.  They read like I would expect a transcript of my conversations with him would read.

So, for the nights I spent with @Vin Marco, did I actually spend time with a hologram? Or with a Hyperdyne Systems 120-A/2? I  have a right to know.

I’ve only met him briefly, but the man I met matches the personality displayed here 100%. If Vin and his posts are entirely AI generated….then bring on the AI baby! It looks like an incredible future for all of us. 

Maybe I should start generating all my responses through AI, and include the instruction to "make it sound like something Vin Marco would say".

It's quite flattering that someone who I don't know, who's never met me and who's literally brand new to the board would accuse me of using and utilizing AI to communicate and express myself. It's utter nonsense. There are LOADS of people here who know me well, who know that accusation is absurd and ridiculous. Heaven forbid a man of the night, have the ability to articulate and express himself intelligently. I thank you @nycman for saying what you said. I always consider the source before I react and considering these false claims came from someone who literally just joined the board,  I can't and   won't respond to whoever he is hiding behind a screen name and a monitor. I put myself out there and have done so for years. I've met a lot of people who have gotten to know me and the nature of my character  AND my ability to both write and express myself..

Thank you ... Here are some photos taken this morning... believe it or not  I'm still in a semi-depleted state and will look even better after this weekend..   I will have had a chance to eat back up and put a little bit of glycogen back in my muscles.

I agree 100% Doc and also would encourage those who have the ability to do so, to dig a bit...  thank you for always having my back Doc and that goes for everybody else who has spoken on my behalf and in my defense when I've not been around.

After a hiatus of two years, I logged into forum and Lo and Behold! A thread on my favorite guy 🥰 Danny 🥰! Just fist-bumping here and just say that my jaw dropped to the floor when I scrolled through nine pages of amazing pictures and wonderful (well-deserved) praises of Danny. His biggest ‘muscle’ is his heart.

My man, as of this morning, the nail is in the wall... after 10 weeks, I'm just going to hold the ship 🛳️ steady... these were taken this morning. On Friday I will take some photos in San Diego ( Blacks Beach ) and then I'll be all over Southern California until Nov 8.
Again, looking forward to seeing many familiar faces and some new faces too 😁
