listing false locations of origin

Recommended Posts

It's quite likely that nearly all of us at one time or another see an ad, make contact, and get a reply that that's not where they're at, but just are there sometimes. I'm not at all referring to traveling providers, but those who list a consistent city to be considered a home base when they rarely are ever there, if at all.

Is this done somehow on their end as a level of safety? I know that many guys are willing to travel x number of miles away (or in the case of NYC, blocks away) to provide service, but it would be nice if they didn't give a false impression of where they can be seen most easily if they indeed do not travel frequently.

recently paid a deposit to two providers. a couple. who presented as being physically present in Pittsburgh. they were in florida. then proceeded to make excuses. kept saying they would travel to me where ever i was. grifters. there i was in my airport hotel. they kept saying we can get on a plane now and be there at 2:00 AM.

The default setting for paying advertisers allows maximum exposure for upper tiers. If they’ve so much as sneezed the name of a location in the profile, current or not, “available now” will come up for every city mentioned. Map feature can be a clue, but not always. I no longer hire “right now” but a couple days ahead, which allows for failures in accuracy of the locale to be corrected, and I can move down my list.

I assume non refundable deposit?

It might be true in some cases, but clients sometimes can't figure out locations and travelling locations. Just saying...

This seems like a good question to ask an escort who lists a home city in which he rarely, if ever, is located. However, if an escort straight-up lies about where they are and/or their travel plans, takes a deposit from a client, and doesn't show it really doesn't matter what location they list in their ad.

It was pretty clear his ad had Pittsburgh as hometown ( not Florida where he actually was)and he implied in our exchanges  Pittsburgh was home and  it was where he was located when  arranged time together. The deposit was not returned. And the RM map had the guy and his boyfriend in Pittsburgh.

Must be nothing but a scammer. I guess you don't want to share his name with us, but you should at least report him to RM in case you haven't done it already.

I don’t think it’s really that hard to figure out where they are. If they’re listed in your city I usually check to see if there’s an airplane with dates that indicate if they’re traveling or not.

if you’re saying they’re claiming to be in your city but actually in another and collecting deposits the. That’s just straight up fraud. AND NEVER SEND A DEPOSIT!
