I'm guessing that some of the massage sites require you to have one? Otherwise, why bother to provide one if you don't care to check for possible clients?!? Back in 1999, e-mail was, as the hipsters used to say, "the shit", as in awesome. I still think it's awesome.

I detest texting. I would rather - gasp - call the # and talk rather than text.

Which massage sites do you refer to? Because I know on RentMasseur, one can disable email messages accordingly. And of course it’s definitely not 1999 lol, however email is still the shit: in the form of instant messaging. Now THAT was the shit I remember lol.

I can do RentMasseur emails, but not so much RentM instant messages. I always try to send at least 1 reply even after my auto message goes out: just to let them know I’m real. But not many seem to transition to phone. I won’t use messenger solely to book an appointment.

I rarely ever take unexpected phone calls from my ads anymore. Too many times, I’ve been sucked into chatting with someone or asked explicit questions when it was off timing. So even though people may have preference to call, it doesn’t suit everyone.

I have found in my normal business life, emails may take weeks to get a response. Or never. Texts often get instant replies, or at least timely. Remember faxes? Or snail mail? Or telegrams? Communications technology has changed. No different with this hobby.

I agree, I only use electronic-mail for work and that's to leave a "paper" trail.  I get faster response with a text message, or even a mailed letter!  I'll send a text message to an escort for a response that same day.  But I'll mail a letter to my doctor's office to request an appointment, for example, if telephone wait times are too long.

I only like emails because I can purposely ignore them and then respond a week later and say I found it in my spam folder.

I dislike how discreet emails can be and prefer the risks and transparency to be mutual.
