Pejorative emoticons

I don’t like using them and generally folks don’t like receiving them. I employed a few today and regret it, as they are inhospitable. My actions were hypocritical and lazy. I hope this open admission will go some distance in maintaining my own course correction.

This one is so passive aggressive. 👍 It says, yea I agree but you're not important enough for me to move my fingers on a keyboard. A loved one uses it on me all the time.  Drives me crazy!  Makes me want to reply with 🖕.

I really believe you are being oversensitive about the thumb-up emoji, and if you let your loved one know your feelings about it, you would probably be relieved of it in future communications.

If one is beneath one’s inserter it could very well be 👎unless their wrist is completely double-jointed. 

And where can one borrow the burrow-er either insertion direction in a wheelbarrow, over a barrel, or any contraption for that matter?
