Alternatives to Rent Men???

Is Rent Men the only viable option for finding escorts online? It seems like the quality of men on there has gone downhill over the past couple years. For example, where did all of the famous hot porn stars go? Sure there are still a few of them on RM, and many guys who call themselves porn stars but aren't really. Did the most popular ones stop escorting because of OF and JFF? 

I tried using google to find other platforms, but didn't have much success. The selection on Jock2Go, Mint Boys, and Hunqs isn't any better. 

Any advice? Thank you

yes, RM is the best of a sad lot.....the other three you mention plus friendboy.pro are the rest of the lot......

it appears many well-known guys are going the OF et al route and making good money.....if they can work hard and catch a following, why bother trying to deal with flaky clients and endless texts when you can just fire up your laptop at home and watch the credits roll in?!

I don't really do the social media thing, but some here have luck directly contacting likely guys who appear to be amenable and politely/professionally proposing a meeting.....

this forum is really the best way to cull through the options, see what others report, ask questions........

and, of course, there are those very few ultra high-end providers who only work by word-of-mouth between trusted and discreet clients or who have a list of regulars plenty long enough........they don't need to advertise!

Unfortunately, it's the best-curated collection of providers online. This forum provides a great library of knowledge and experience that others can share honestly and openly. When you compliment both, it can give you some empowerment.

But I will admit, the industry has changed, and providers mostly use RM as a conduit to promote their adult content on OF. They don't really have much incentive as they did 8 years ago to really pursue this profession.

With OF:

- They are in control of their image and the content they produce
- Engage with other hot guys who look like them
- Make good money
- Less need to travel, especially to remote areas to make a living

Although I have found men to hire on that site, they officially don't allow escorts on that site and will ban someone if they found out it's been suggested, so be careful there.

I miss driving through the hustler parts of town and seeing the selection of men but the Internet killed that.  RM is the best, Mintboys is littered with scammers and dead ads.  Sometimes you can get lucky on the apps or on A4A but A4A has cracked down on it.  Sniffies actually blocks any messages that have hiring keywords like generous and such.  A lot of guys get upset on the apps when you proposition them but have had luck getting hired on Grindr and Scruff and hired one of my best on Scruff.  Miss the good old days of street trade, hustler bars, and phone sex lines.

they charge the providers to post profiles,  and now charge us to view them!  taking it from both ends (literally)

Unfortunately, they have the monopoly on the loop holed pandering game... it's going to take someone with an unholy amount of money and an extremely keen business acumen to give RM competition and a run for their money.  Thankfully I don't rely on so it's double dipping hasn't affected me  but it would suck if it went away without another site with its same traffic and reach already in place.

There's almost no viable competitor. These changes will not impact their bottom line in the least. 

Until someone builds a better mousetrap, we have what we have. 

And building that new mousetrap ain't going to be easy.

Unless UK's SleepyBoy is already owned by RM, it's a good opportunity for Sleepy to expand into the US market.

I am not sure why PlanetRomeo's Hunqz despite being available in the US never really picked up here. 

If the current internet trend continues, quality providers will only be available to the super rich (e.g. David Geffen) and for the rest of us, since OF won't fulfil our need for a real human, we will have no choice but to be inCels ! 😱

I don't understand all the grousing about RM. It works perfectly well for me. I don't mind spending the $9.95 per month fee to see everything in their ads and the choices in my markets of interest are plentiful and ever changing. But maybe this only applies to Canada.
