why RM won't allow clients in USA to see rates or read reviews?

Anyone know why Rentmen won't allow clients to read the comments in reviews or see the rates posted?

I know clients can use a VPN to see this but I have found when clients can read the comments previous clients have left me it helps me out a lot.

It has a lot to do with the SESTA/FOSTA laws that were passed in the US back in 2018.  RM decided their best defense against US law enforcement was restricting US visitors from seeing rates and reviews.  It's also why the advertisers are "pornstars" and not "escorts".

Sorry if this is listed elsewhere but would anyone mind sharing the step by step process for how to use VPN to read reviews?

If you are using a Windows computer, use Chrome instead of Firefox.  I couldn't get this to work with Firefox.

Go to the site: https://hide.me/en/proxy

In the box on that page, paste the URL of the escort you want to view, or if you just want to access the entire site, type https://rentmen.eu

Note: You will likely have to click the acknowledgment button more than once to be let in the site.

Now that you've done that, when you click the link to read all reviews for a specific escort, the text will appear along with the rating.

Correct, Americans can’t legally advertise their escort rates. Any new provider or provider profile in the last 5 or so years (maybe longer?) would never have been prompted to list their rates. There is no place to post rates. Providers with rate info would have had to post that at least several years ago, so definitely rates are out of date.

Unless you’re driving 86 mph with a flux capacitor in tow … and manage to snag a sports almanac. Then you can hire whoever you want according to any of the rates posted online in 2015! And hire as many as you want, as often as you want. You might even host them at your own casino.

…because prostitution is illegal in the U.S.

This.

I’ve seen providers on their personal websites list “patronage” rates though. I find this very useful. It eliminates a lot of headache about discussing rates. You know going in what they’ll want for a weekend before you even text. 👍🏻

If you have to ask the price, then you can't afford it!

Why is this disposition such a common theme? Do people enjoy thinking of themselves in some category above others who “can’t afford?” I know quite a few extremely wealthy folks who would travel miles and miles to save pennies on the dollar…Not because they can’t afford the same thing closer, but because they won’t pay for something when they can get it cheaper elsewhere (irrespective of the fact they end up likely spending more overall to avoid a higher sticker price). Some people just don’t want to throw away their money even if they could.

I don’t find lording ability to pay over those who aren’t in the same financial situation especially endearing; in fact, it’s off-putting.

Interesting, tried checking some reviews with the VPN and see the same old how many stars. I checked a couple weeks ago and got it all. Wondering if anything changed?

I just used the Hide Me site in Chrome and saw written reviews.
