Those who go all the way with masseurs, why not just escorts instead?

I'm going to ask a question that I bet many are wondering.  I see a lot of righteous indignation in the posts.  This site is clearly a discussion of the types of massage services provided by sites like RM and MF.  It's clear that just like in the spectrum of attraction from pure straight to pure gay that there are many flavors in-between like bisexual, pansexual, asexual.  Everyone has different preferences and interests.  So, I guess my question is why subscribe to and participate in a forum that openly discusses the types of services you are clearly triggered and offended by? Isn't this participation a violation of that code of ethics you hold so dearly?  This is honestly starting to read like the preacher who must "do the Lord's work" by going to go to the titty bar to compel the men to repent of their lustful ways - every Tuesday during happy hour.

It's definitely a slippery-slope with licensing and legalities.  Personally, I use RM and MF.  I seek out those listed as LMT and CMT. I don't go in with expectations, but hope there will be more.  I enjoy it when it happens.  I had a massage on Sunday evening that was pure therapeutic and I left satisfied as a customer. I went back to my airbnb and took care of my other business myself.  - Now I would be lying if I didn't hope that that business might have been taken care of during my session.  For me it's a learning process of finding body positivity and self-acceptance.  That may sound odd and I can share more of my story in private if anyone cares.

I tried lots of the usual things (eventually you hit on the thing that starts to get the person going).

And sometimes I am paying to be SELFISH! in addition to the buildup, sensual touch, teasing, great massage, getting to know one another, and all the other great points made here, sometimes I just want the first 1/2 or 3/4 of our time to be about ME! I don't want to care about, or even hear about someone else being pleased, or moaning with pleasure. I want the hands and body of another discovering, trying, and working exclusively for MY pleasures. If I am in  a ME, ME, ME mentality, I find an erotic masseur will accomplish that much better than an escort.

. You can combined them in the same session, of course, but you break it out for pricing purposes. You get A, B, and C for the massage rate over a given time. You get X, Y, and Z for the escort rate over that time

I wish it were easier to find this combo. Many providers classify a session as being one or the other and refuse to blend the 2 even if they provide both services. The solution of hiring someone for escorts rates and dedicating some of the time to massage leaves the client paying more than they might of the option to blend both were available.

Maybe providers could advertise that as an option on rentmen or hint at it as an option on RM--it would be interesting to see whether that brought them new clients

The OP question makes sense to me. If you’re ultimately wanting to go all the way, seems reasonable to hire an escort.

My first experiences hiring were with masseurs and I was actually told by people suggesting it that it was a cheaper way to access escorts. Now that I look back it’s offensive to professionals both those defining themselves as escorts and as masseurs.

But it’s also been the case that most massages I’ve booked have had the masseur himself trying to take it to something more. On one occasion one even whispered in my ear something like “if you tip me would have a lot more fun” (out of the blue, wasn’t like I was taking it in a direction and he was responding to that).  So I figured out there was different pricing for a reason and now I’m clearer about paying for and booking what I want and what the provider is offering without blurring lines.

This is so common. It sucks being treated like a discount sex worker. While it may be true that some masseurs are escorts or offer equivalent services, equitable pricing is different for each service. If you’re getting way, way more than massage and not being charged for it, be sure to tip generously.

If a massage session ever develops into a full escort session, my "tip" is to double his massage fee.

I'm never looking for a discount sex session. I genuinely like a good massage. Sometimes I like the masseur enough that I feel like going further. But I never know that part until I'm already in his company.
