LA Chinatown Restaurant Recommendations?

The Chinatown New Year's Parade is Saturday and I am wondering if there are any good Chinese restaurants there. Perhaps they are all in Monterey Park.

Friend said that Full House Seafood and Hop Li Seafood was good!
Lasita is not Chinese food but it really popular

Also Little Tokyo is around the corner in Chinatown is crowded

Agree about Chow.  It's been there forever for good reason.

We chose Yang Chow and it was a good choice. The streets were closed for the parade, which made parking a problem, but once we were at the table all was well and the food was good...as was the service.

Is that restaurent where you ate in the old Chinatown portrayed in the film of the same name, directed by Roman Polanski? Or does that Chinatown still exist? The film was set in the 1930's.
