Dubai has a suspicious amount of bodybuilders over 200 lbs. on RM: Dubai, Pornstar Performers Gay Massage, RentMen & Gay PornStarts | RentMen

Laws are so harsh there that STRAIGHT UNMARRIED couples can be arrested for holding hands in public.

I worry about these providers drawn to money in countries like this, or Russia. If the authorities stop looking the other way they are at risk.

I can’t imagine many guys native to Dubai or other large Arab cities would risk pursuing the craft so close to home. London, Paris, other western cities with large Muslim populations are easier to disappear into for them. Especially if studying.

It makes sense that a city for tourists with too much money would be a market for any provider to be drawn to, with fewer local providers as competition - and I would assume those who do travel have weighed the inherent risks.
An old friend was a trainer and PT, and was hired by Saudi nobility as a private trainer for their son. He lived in adjacent really nice digs private digs. His partner stayed in US, and after a couple years he got large chunks of time off and round trip to US, but he remained celibate and minimally social when in SA. Very low-key straight acting SoCal guy, who amassed money in 6 yrs to pay cash for SoCa house.
Sacrifice of sex can be rewarded. So can providing sex to men who are keen to present themselves as celibate.

Yes but in Dubai the closet cases are bound to be far far far more extreme. Closet cases in this day and age, esp. in NYC, are really lame people. But in UAE it is almost certainly the default mode.
